First of all, I am so glad this cel-shadingartstyle has been married with the handheld Zelda games. It just works great.

Now what I want to see is the option to use the D-Pad to move and then everything elsecontrolled with the styles. I thinkitwill allow for less cluttered stylus controls. Nintendo actively wanted you to only use the stylus in PHevenhaving a fallen warrior mention it.This is not asking alot and it only highlights the touchscreen controls, it does not diminish it.

I want DSi features in there, obviously they would not be required game elements but more like the GBA to GC connectionthat we saw with Wind Waker.

I want the story to directly connect to PH. It was a good trend and I want it to continue with the part of the Zeldafranchise.

I agree with you, some things need to be assigned to something other than the stylus.

DSi connectivity would be good as well though!

I would just like to see Link on a DATE with the Princess. For all he's done for her she OWES HIM ONE! :D

I actually prefer the stylus.

one thing i dont want to see....if ninty have another dungeon that the player has to repeatedly visit like in PH then i will bust a nut. its a game breaking mistake imho (right up there with putting a time limit on a game ala pikmin 1) and if they do it again, i simply wont acknowledge the existence of it on the DS. other than that....im not too bothered what they do as im sure itll be great. i would like to be able to explore the whole world on foot and get off the train at any point (the impression i got from the vid was that u cant explore the land on foot...i hope im wrong though) but its no biggy.

I really want Nintendo to use the D-pad for movement, or at least let me have the option. It just felt really akward to move Link around like that. Maybe it is my deepseeded fear of change... All and all, this could be a fun game. I remember when i first saw Wind Waker, i had a WTF? moment. But I loved WW, so i am hoping this will be the same. Also, that whole, "keep going back to the same dungeon" idea was a crazy bad idea.

Well the "keep going back to the same dungeon" idea may have caused many of us some minor annoyance, but that gameplay element fit into the story nicely and it made for a bit of a change of pace. I mean, most of us complain about how Zelda games have not changed much since OoT. But when Ninty makes a little change that adds a challenge (a tedious challenge, but still!) we continue to complain. - As for this being a direct sequel to PH; we can't really tell from the footage, but I'm sure they have already decided were the game fits in the timeline. I don't think that fan input will sway them.

I love well implemented change. I feel like when I am moving with the stylus I cannot fight to full potential. Heck if they allowed for the D-pad movement they could make for more intricate sword fighting but that will not happen.

When I played PH with full touch screen contols, I realized I never wanted to go back to D-pads and buttons ever again. But I can see what you mean. Movement with the D-pad and precise movements with the stylus would make for some pretty impressive sword fighting.

Thank you for understanding! Whenever I mention this I get crap from people who mistake me for one of those people who hate change. I have no problem with the stylus controls and when I played PH I never wanted anything but stylus controls. However I want these stylus controls refined for this game.

Same. Maybe they should have a setting where you could pick to use the D-pad or the touch screen.

I personally loved how you could play with one hand.

I think the game should have the same controls as Phantom Hourglass, but with the option to attack and move with the directional pad/face buttons.

MY opinion:I WANT TOUCH SCREEN! i would HATE the D-pad would feel so awkward ouch..... but i do agree , it does need some BUTTON support, and i want the stroy to contribute with PH, i also hope the train will move faster than the boats, oh and i want longer dungeons they were FAR to easy excluding the temple of the ocean king. Also id like to see link have back his amazing stealth, he pwns, i want him to slid on walls hid from enemies the only time that happened in PH was in the temple of teh ocean king.
