In this video here, http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2010-zelda-skyward/700266

The guy playing the demo has absolutely no problems playing the game at all, Motion Plus works exactly like it's supposed to. It sounds and looks a lot better then when Miyamoto was playing it at the conference. Just thought I'd post this for anyone who still has any doubts about it.

It looks like it's going to be amazing.

I don't have doubts about it working...But I do doubt that constantly having to swing a "sword" will get really old really fast.

That looks awesome! Poor Miyamoto  There was probly a lot of electronical interfernce in the audence when he was playing. Had to have been because the controlls seemed to work perfectly for the guy playing in that video.

that video rocks BTW! Everyone should watch it if they have not. Really makes me like the artsyle even more. The only two concerns I have right now are

1) Open world as open and exploration focused as past zeldas (I am sure it is)

2) There are more items then the ones in the circle. If it is like TP then they just expand it. I just want bottles and such too and all that good stuff.

Judging by this video you wont need to be flailing around quite as much as link is on screen ;). Seriously it looks awesome!

Here's another video, http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2010-zelda-skyward/700016

The music sounds epic, I hope this music's actually in the game. It also shows what looks like a mid boss near the end.

Thanks for the vids. I wonder if the orchestrated music is going to make it in. I read interviews and I guess Aunoma is not really sure if Miyamoto was being serious or not and that it currently is not. I would like it to be in, but either way the music will rock as always.

You're welcome.

Yeah I'd like it to be orchestrated too, but Twilight Princess didn't have orchestrated either and it was still amazing. The first time I heard the new theme for Hyrule Field I was blown away.

One of the best things about Zelda games is the soundtrack. I don't think we'll have to worry about it too much, it won't disappoint either way.

Haha not worried about it at all. Love the music in zelda. I am a bit worried the game will be too easy though. I am sure all my worries will be eased soon enough.

Seriously when I first saw the graphics I was not sure about the art direction but after watching more and more and seeign the vid you posted (the first one), I LOVE them! They are possibly the best choice for what they could have done.

I agree, I hope it won't be as easy as Wind Waker was.

I kinda had the same reaction. At first I thought it was a weird choice, it's like Twilight Princess mixed with Wind Waker. It's like realistic cell shading, not cartoony. I feel the same way now too, I think they're taking it in a great new direction. The graphics look awesome. They look familiar but at the same time they're new and feel refreshing. I think I even prefer Link in Skyward Sword to how he looks in Twilight Princess and Smash Bros Brawl, and he looked great in both of those games.

Agreed. WW was easiest of the 3D ones, but still difficult enough. If it gets easier then that I will be displeased :P.

Exactly. And RS2 requires you to be a lot more involved in your swinging than Zelda does. I played RS2 twice through and even more for the challenges... maybe 30 hours or so. It doesn't get old.

They'll probably implement an option the would bring down the sensitivity so you won't have to do long arc swings for Link to attack with his sword..... After watching that, I can say that I'm a little more hyped than I was before. I look forward to see how it progress in the coming months....

I think Wind Waker would have been even more amazing if controlling the Wind was less tedious. That's the only thing preventing it from reaching it's full potential in my opinion....

Wouldnt it be cool if they had motion used to point the wind waker wand in the direction you wanted the wind so you could change it on the fly? haha, seriously though it was an amazing game even though it had its flaws.

I'm actually liking the idea of seeing it on 3DS. It would be nice to be able to change the winds on the fly. Makes searching for those Triforce shards less tedious and a headache than it usually is....

haha yeah it was the worst part of the game, but because you can still explore the world and get to doing those when you are in the area it was not too bad for me. I hope SS has some good exploration in it :).

Judging by the size of that one area alone in the video I posted, when the guy zoomed out and showed the map, it looks like it's going to be a huge game. If every area's that big, it could be an even bigger game then Twilight Princess was.

Once. It was called TP. Actually. No. I liked TP. It had a pretty good story and some fun action. Every zelda game i've played, i've had a blast with. So hopefully this trend continues. lol

I dont like to ask that question because unfortunately its been more than once.

Im sure the controls will work perfectly and the visuals are nice (although they could have more depth), but i wasnt impressed by other things happening in the demo.

I think if all the land cluttered up together in Windwaker, Twilight Princess would edge it out. Consider Windwaker took place in a massive amount of water, of course it's gonna be big. Didn't have to render much but a lot of blue...:P Try running through all of Hyrule on foot then say it's not big. That means, no horse back riding or teleporting. Not that I like it being that big since it made it felt empty without a lot of interesting people in it......
