I'd like real-time, and more of an RPG feel, but still with the classic action-adventure premise.

No it shouldn't

The title isn't high profile enough to make it the game that changes everything

It should either be a Mario title or a whole new title that can draw people in. Zelda has shown that it's not an "everyone" title.

Ocarina of time revolutionized 3-D games, so it could happen

Honestly I'd be content with just another Zelda game... Twilight Princess was incredible and if they could throw something like that at Wii Owners again I wouldn't complain.

Zelda series has redefined games several times. The first one was the first game with a saving system yes? OOT was the greatest game ever for an extroardinarily long time. And zelda games have certainly been a standard of excellence among games so yeah if a game is going to redefine gaming Zelda certainly isn't a bad choice. I have my own ideas of what kind of changes I'd like to see but none of them are extremely radical, and I've ranted about them a million times. The most important thing I want is darker story. Antihero Link would make it really awesome for me.

i can see a darker story, kind of set in a futuristic mechanical city. Maybe dark link makes an appearance. i think some things they could add is co-op mode, like 2 people puzzles can add an extra difficulty and creativity in the puzzles. Maybe more interactivity with the townspeople. More sidequests like Ocarina of time had. windwaker had boats. Ocarina of time had time warp. Twilight princess had wolf mode. So i hope the new theme will be refreshing and hopefully some revolutionary factor will make this game really stand out.

Yeah Zelda isnt a game that everyone plays, therfore it probably wont be revolutionary. i mean ive played since the snes, and i still have never finished a Zelda game. They take so fricken long to finish and get boring after a while. Maybe if they add some type of online thing, otherwise i dont see Zelda as game changing.

Is that why GTA games were revolutionary? Or Re4? Or Ocarina of Time?? I thought so,

It has been stated by Miyamoto himself that the next zelda is going to go in a different direction. I think the game will still be heavily adventure based (obviously), but the combat will revolve around the wiimote... maybe when you z-target on an enemy, the camera will be fixed behind Link, and a cursor of sorts will appear on screen, showing which direction you're slicing in, performing combos of sorts. And obviously, the dungeons/overworld will be filled with puzzles/activities using the wii's capabilities. Don't say you want "more of the same from Zelda"...I would never want this to turn into a series that brings what's expected (aside from greatness of course :) ).

DLC on a system with almost no memory? Why can't it be on the disc to begin with?

Zelda doesn't need to be revolutionary. It needs to be good, and to sell.

Downloadable dungeons would be great. But, with Nintendo's solution to low memory being deleting games off your memory, it probably won't work or happen.

What he means is why can't the extra quests be included on the disc in the first place.
