I bought my litltle brother sonic rush and Legend of zelda phantom hour glass for Christmas and i sat down to see what was so special on this little handheld and i have to admit that after playing that thing from 10 a.m. est to 8 pm est i've fallen in love with this handheld machine... why it took me so long? I dont know but golly i cant see why i didnt get on this thing before
My sister had hers for about a year already and I thought that it was sort of dumb.... Then i finnaly played some of her games and I fell in love with it also. I just bought one for myself today with FFXII:RW and I was wondering the same thing, why didn't I buy it a LONNGGGG time ago. :D

Yeah, people have a bad first impression of it after seeing that some of the most popular games are Cooking Mama and those Brain Training stuff. However, once they give it a try and see that there are some really great games like FFXII: RW, Trauma Center, Sonic Rush, Phoenix Wright, etc. then their opinion changes.

Exactly, my sister had games like Nintendogs and Animal Crossing which didn't seem like my type of games. But I grew to like Animal Crossing. I've played Trauma Center and I love it. :D

Actually, Brain Training games seem to be declining in popularity, seeing as Brain Age 2 seemed to sell pretty poorly compared to the original. Phoenix Wright has never been a great seller, but it is a fantastic game! I love my DS as well, and I'd recommend it to anyone! :P
I had a friend from japan (i think it released earlier there) and he brought his DS every where and i thought it was just a double screened gameboy gizmo , then i played it and i never thought one of the screens was interactive which was pretty kool,
and about 1 week after release in AU i bought itand loved it ever sense:D
Yeah i have to say im impressed with the functionality of the system. Phantom hourglass uses the touch screen really well and i love the way sonic rush uses both screens for its gameplay. im actually thinking of buying one for myself and then buying alot of games to it. i want to play that hotel dusk game. is it really amazing?
