Madden 08 is coming out for another season and there is talk around the sports gaming world that Madden 08 is going to be the best Madden ever made. I don't think this is impossible for EA to do. They are totally redoing all of the hitting and break tackle animations. There will also be a hit stick 2.0. Also don't you hate when you run the ball up the middle but with just getting stuffed, well with the new juking system strong players can push the pile while other agile players can go around the edge for big yards. I have a little hunch that Madden 08 will indeed be the best Madden ever.

i definately agree. i passed on madden 08, to wait on this game. i like the Wii specific features and the fact thats it online is a awesome. i hope the new gameplay will be implemented on the Wii version of the game. i heard madden 08 for the Wii will run off the old madden 07 engine. so i dont know if that means the improved gameplay will only be for the ps3 and 360 versions.

It looks much nicer for sure than 07 and the new features should make it better. I'd never buy a Madden game with my own money but I'll probably end up playing it at a friends place or something. I liked 07's idea. That was a good game...

Yup Madden 08 will be great. I only have Madden 06 and 07 but I think 08 will simply be the best.

I started a thread here http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=25730499 about a new video Jeux-France posted. I agree that this may be the best madden yet; however, from the looks of this video, it seems like the new animations, gang tackling, etc.. won't make it into the Wii version.

I'm so excited for this game! My Madden 07 is collecting dust right now, because none of my friends like Madden, and Madden without multiplayer is pretty lame to me! Viva ONLINE PLAY!

I can't stress this enough that the wii will have on-line play. it won't be stupid either. We will have access to EA locker and leader boards but most importantly a EA sports ticker.

I'm really excited about this year's Madden on the Wii. Telestrator mode will be sweet, and i'm already excited about online play and even about that live ticker at the bottom of the screen.

I had Madden '07 last year and thought it was fun. But playing a whole game is pretty repetitive. I probably won't be gettting Madden '08. I think Tiger Woods and Fifa will be better.

Pshhh....that trailer was ruined the moment it showed Mario Williams clobbering Vince Young. We all know what VY did to the Texans, haha. Anyway, is this trailer specifically for the Wii version? I've been trying to find out if the Wii version has the new animations like the PS3 and 360, but no one seems to know. This trailer clearly has new animations so let's hope it's a Wii trailer.

I can't wait for this game!! I've always been a Madden hater, but this game is winning me over. Now if we could only get APF 2K8 on the Wii......

Has everyone seen the recent videos over at IGN? I didn't think the Wii version was going to have the new animations, but from these videos it looks like they may. Still no signs of gang tackling though...

I'll wait awhile, read reviews and then buy it. Every single year, Madden comes in with the same hype, and although they're really good, they never deliver on the hype.
