I absoulutly positivly cannot wait for this game

http://wii.ign.com/articles/780/780374p1.html

Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros Treasure.  The game is going to be great.  I have truely missed the adventure games of old.  I think the last adventure game I played on a console was Broken Sword.  Developers will release one or two on the computer on occation but I just don't like gaming on my PC.  The DS has also had a few great adventure games which I have enjoyed but again I like console gaming a bit more.

The hands on sounds like this game is going to be a ton of fun and really different.  I sure hope that this gets a good review and then a ton of other developers start making adventure games.  I can't wait to see a Kings Quest, Gabriel Knight, or Day of the Tentacle on the Wii!!!

That does look really fun. It looks like a good test of your intuition and observation skills. I could see myself playing a level or two a day for quite awhile.

Games so simple yet so challenging don't show up very often. It's really too bad that this kind of game has fallen out of what's "cool" in gaming. Most people will probably see the art style and dismiss it immediately. A shame, really.

I've seen a couple of vids about this game and totally love it. I think after Windwaker people won't dismiss games with this graphical style too easy. Please lets alo have a Wiimake of Monkey island. so good. so very good!

Agreed. I like adventure games, that is why I liked Windwaker so much. I like just sailing on the sea killing pirates. If this game allows for that same open ended exploration then I will love it. Plus something that uses the control in so many ways without being gimmicky would be great.

I'd love to see LucasArts take some of their old franchises and release side by side with PC and Wii.  Maybe they can release all the new Sam and Max Adventures in a collection for the Wii!  That'd be great.  A new Monkey Island or something similar to Grim Fandango would also be very welcome.  All this talk about adventure games is making me want boot up Escape from Monkey Island.

I just hope it's coming out really soon... like September soon.
