On G4, they mentioned that something called the"New Pack" was being released by nintendo during the winter. I believe this might be a Wii with addition memory, or perhaps something grander. Does anyone know about this and can you please provide your view on the topic? Thank you in regards.
It wont be more than a pack with different game combinations. Like the 360 forza+M:UA bundle.Haziqonfire
Yeah I agree. It'll be some ind of combo pack. They will not release a remake or upgraded Wii. IF they do it'll be farther in the future and with plenty of time and hype before it's launch.

Honestly I don't care. I dont know where the hell N's focus is right now but if it weren't for SMG and SSBB I'd sell my Wii right now. Better yet I wouldn't have bought it.
ALL I WANT IS GAMESS!!!!! GIMME GOOD GAMES!!! I have a PC so I don't really need a 360 or PS3 alhough if exclusive start become temting I'll have to pick up one, more likely the ps3 cus the pc gets a lot of 360 games and vice cersa.
I don't care about this so called "Wii 2" I only care about the 6 games coming out by the end of this year that I want... including SMG, SSBB, MP3, GH3, Crossbow Training and SC Legends.

my bad. its hot here and i'm just a little bit ticked off. but seriously though, its not a system, its just that i refered to it as "Wii 2" because thats how it was represented as on G4. I decided to use the same name in the event that i could find someone who has also seen it and could perhaps helpshed some light and help answer my question as to what, exactly, they were mentioning because its a supposed bundle that'll cost $290
i think it will just be a bundle that they will be selling because they aren't even going to be getting enough wii's out for the holiday demand. so i doubt nintendo will upgrade the system just yet when they know they can still sell out with what they have.
