Its going to cost $15 and most games likely won't use it. Theres absolutly no reason to complain about it
Unless there will be games that require it.. So far none of them do. Like I said before this seems like it's going to play out like Wii MotionPlus, some games will use it for added functionality and we'll probably see some software that requires it totally.[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]All it is is an optional device so far. If you don't want it, you don't have to buy it.Litchie

Yeah. So far only one game requires Wii motion plus (I think), soon to be 2 with the addition of SS, and several have it as an OPTIONAL control method. So far only 6 games have been confirmed to be able to use the second circle pad add on, and as far as I know, none of them require it.
Unlike everyone else, I am going to look as it as the best handgrip for a portable. It only adds to the system. It is not required. And when did real gamers go against two sticks. Sure it should have been there from the beginning but it was. By that I mean the ir port on the system was made for this. Why else would they add an ir port to it? It can already connect to the wii and the wii u with wifi.
I'm actually thrilled for it. Not the best looking peripheral but it still looks comfortable and I see potential from it to enhance a game. I did not expect the extra shoulder buttons so that puts me more at ease. I'm more excited for the use of it in Monster Hunter. The PSP MHs controlled awfully with one analog.-.-
one AAA battery no big deal thats what rechargeable batteries are for and its better then using the 3ds poor built in battery, but i dislike the placement of the circle pad it would have been smarter if it was more under the buttonselbert_b_23How would they put it there though? You can't wrap it around, it would break easily
Trust me, you'll be begging for a second analog for button-heavy games like Monster Hunter. Without it, movement and camera controls would all be mapped onto the left thumb. Controlling both at the same time is nigh impossible.
Touch screen? Nope, that's being used for inventory and other shortcuts.
