The one thing I'm gonna hate so much about conduit, is that there will be so many people hacking that game online it wont even be funny. I hope they will have moderators or something to stop hackers.

Just like any other online shooter. Im sure the hackers wont be that bad, you cant really judge how it works yet.
That's why I don't play online games anymore - you end up playing against a bunch of code someone's made rather than a true competitive player. If you want true multiplayer, you need to play against bots. The one thing I'm gonna hate so much about conduit, is that there will be so many people hacking that game online it wont even be funny. Sometimes I just can't be bothered getting my internet stuff from the other end of the house and bring it to my bedroom just so I can play Wii online. The one thing I'm gonna hate so much about conduit, is that there will be so many people hacking that game online it wont even be funny. I see it all the time in Medal of Honor Heroes 2
You can tell when this one guy rushes in onto 10 opponents.
The 10 guys blast away at the one guy with everything they got and nothing happens.
Then the one guy uses the handgun to kill all 10 of the opponents.
End result, an invincible player.
I have also seen it in Mario Kart Wii.
You know, that guy is just ahead of you in 1st place, so you are in 2nd.
A blue spike shell flys by and does one of two things:
- explodes on the person in first place and has no effect
- the shell flys back toward you and makes you its victum
I have also seen people fall of the track and just appear back on the road as if nothing happened.
I don't think that we can avoid hackers, but that doesn't mean that you will encounter them all the time.
I'll never understand people who do this kind of thing. If you really enjoy cheating in single-player mode and beating the game that way, then fair play to you. But to do in direct competition with others does not compute with me.MuppetusG
that's like asking why do people steal or take in government checks instead of working to make an honest living.
Ugh! Don't remind me! I see several people hacking Mario Kart Wii a day. You can tell cause they're either always impervious to attacks, or they always have a Golden Shroom, even in 1st place.

And a bot's not a bunch of code?
Insulting gamers with trash talk and Tbagging is one thing, but hacking? It's pathetic...but I will admit Tbagging people is fun!
does anyone feel that metroid prime hunters is always getting hacked, or am i just really bad at that game?micahismynameIt does get hacked a lot. It's not just you.

that's because they are to lazy to work.[QUOTE="destinys_martyr"][QUOTE="MuppetusG"]I'll never understand people who do this kind of thing. these 'gamers' are too lazy to compete and build their skill level with practice, why do that when you can write/break code to get that instant feeling of being in 1st place every time?

Yeah, but what is there to gain from cheating? You don't have the satisfaction of knowing are more skilled than everyone when you beat them!as far as im aware i dont think you can hack wii online, as lack of space prevevnts any big files being out onto it? plus if there were hacks wouldnt we have seen them in WaW already? all i know that you can exploit glitches but hacking online is something i dont think you can do on the wiimonkeyd_93Three words, Mario Kart Wii
