The upcoming Wii library is very disappointing.

I just looked at the upcoming games for the Wii in the "New releases" section and there is nothing but really bad movie games and PS2 ports. Im really disappointed of the lackluster library of games the Wii is getting right now after an amazing media achievement. If Nintendo really wants to stand out more than they have so far, then they need to make great games now. And I know Paper Mario is close, but that, for me, is just not enough.Sim_genius

1)I was a Sonic fan when you were still in diapers.

2)The game wasn't all that hard (besides the unresponsive controls), it was just boring.

Back on topic, a lot of great games are coming.... just not all next month. We'll have a lot of good games this year.

Whos to say I was in diapers. I mean i stoped wearing them when i was 3 or younger cant remember. Also dude sonic came out in 1991 i was exacly 3 years old I most likely played it at 4 since my family didint have alot of money,but my uncle got the genesis and thats when I started to like sonic. The only reason it was hard for me was because I kept bumping into crap cause I was so dam fast. So stop being a critic and be a gamer.

Well what you mean by great? Since I enjoy all my games I buy. The games I bought and enjoyed for my wii are Sonic,Red steel,MUA,Metal Slug,DBZ and Zelda. There would be more,but I need a job,but befor that I need to finsh school since that more important right now.

Starcraft, all UTs, all Dooms, all Descents, Zelda OoT, Contra, Heretic/Hexen, Blood, DMC, SotC, Burnout Revenge, Duke Nukem 3D, etc.  I have a wide taste in games, but I'm very specific on the actual games I like the most.  Certain games just 'click' for me.  The Wii has been falling short, but I remain optimistic.

Can I ask what you disagree with on his list? I think all the games made by Nintendo will be good or great. Granted, Guiter Hero will be great because you can't screw that up. Everything else is going to be OK. I want more than OK. Do you really think Driver Parallel Lines will be good? Prince of Persia with tacked on controls? You're putting a lot of faith in games that we know very little about.

Ok on this list heres what I want

Dragon Quest Swords I saw vid and it intrest me and I beiieve there will a little mroe to it.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Crystal Bearers I like the GC one and I will like this one as long as you dont have to buy a bunch of crap to play with your friend.

Manhunt 2 I loved part one and I doubt Ill hate part 2.

Thats good since I found graw boring and Gears was fun,but didint have much varity.

Interesting to me the posters that are disappointed with the upcoming line up this year.  Some of you people need to not be so judgemental and over critical.  And who cares if some of the games coming out on the Wii are ports.  Nintendo made the Wii and all of the these designers and software people want on board.  If it takes a port to get a piece of the pie, so be it.  Plain n' simple if you don't like a game, don't buy it.  But personally I'd give even the ports a chance because they could be more enjoyable the second time around.  I think, some of the problem with these gamers is they were raised up in a violent atmosphere and therefore have been grown into the PC shooter or War like games, and therefore the games that are even remotely "kid-like" turn them off.  Probably, they might be afraid that their buddies will find out that they have been playing a Kirby game or a Animal crossing, or anything that's not overly macho.  It's all about Imagination, people need to forget about what other people think, and buy games that they want to play, and not feel like they have to play and buy games that other people are going to except.  I used to be similar in how I chose games.  I never experienced some of the earlier Super Nes games that were on a kiddie level because of my image conscience self.  After I got older and didn't give a hoot what other people thought of me and what I did; I started going back through games that I missed out on.  Man, did I miss out on some great titles.  Be open minded people, and don't bash Nintendo, bash the software people making the games.  Nintendo games are usually good games, and if they make us wait longer for games; so what!  If it makes the game better isn't it worth the wait?    And finally quit jumping to conclusions and bashing games before they come out.  At least you have the option to renting a game to see if you like it.  Last but not least if you just have over the top expectations and are rarely satisfied with what is coming out on the consoles, Go to school, learn how to program, and make your own games.  Oh, and Have a Nice Day!!Smogtoe

The Wii has some great titles coming up.. and remember, we're still in year one when a good majority of these titles come out.

The 360 to get their AAA's took a year to get one, and then some to get other's.  So I wouldn't worry too much.  Plus, any gamer knows this is the dry time of the year for info (cause e3, despite being smaller, will have lots to look at) and q1 releases are pretty much done. 

When we enter year 2, there will be a whole new list of games, and then we can celebrate.

Patience is a virtue TC and others... just wait it out, its not going to kill you.

You'll be thanking Miyamoto on his yahoo page once the great games come out.

Where did you hear that they're making a Soul Caliber 4 for Wii? 

And a lot of those sound pretty good to me, I just think that it would be dumb if the Wii didn't get some good FPS. When I first heard about the Wii, I thought "oh cool, FPS will rock on this thing!" But now I'm a little sad at what they have for FPS.:(

Sounds to me like some of you should have waited a couple years to buy it then. If you're just going to complain about not being fed games you like fast enough then either A) You didn't research before buying, in which case I laugh at your pain, or B) You bought something that you have very little interest in, in which case I'd have to ask why you did that - then perhaps follow up with some laughing. If you couldn't even see a few months into the console's lifespan before you bought it, then I can only think you put virtually no thought into it at all. Ultimate_Peon
