yea...ssb4 seems more brawl than melee...

about the characters...dont worry there will be just as much as brawl or more.im sure. they just havnt announced them all yet.

The article was mostly positive though? The "ugly" was just humerous... being humilated by being defeated by the cuties character like the Villager :D

Btw, they didnt say therw would be less, they said that for the sake of balance they likely wouldn't have *more* which isn't a bad thing. 35 is a lot of characters,

I'm sooo glad this game isn't like Melee from what was shown. I'll be picking it up day one if it maintains a method of gameplay far away from that hyperspeed mess.

honestly, a third of brawl's cast could be thrown away and no one would miss them. so if they drop a couple clones and replace/rework other characters to make them more interesting, i'm all for it. interestingly enough, the villager sounds awfully similar to Mr. Game and Watch.

That hyperspeed provides some of the best action I've experienced in the series. Brawl almost put me to sleep.

If they really wanted to they can make a turbo mode, satisfying both types of players

Who said they are releasing with less characters? This game looks almost exactly like Brawl...so its hard to believe they haven't ported most if not all of the characters. But its about freaking time they give Ganondorf his own moves.

A turbo mode would be great. Melee had great stages and item selection but the character roster was a joke and the fighting needed some MAJOR fixing.

They've announced that there are going to be the same amount of characters in SSB4 that there were in Brawl
