In my opinion all of the consoles are great in their own way and offer excellent exclusives. Also this is the wrong forum go to system wars. I mean this is the Wii forum i oubt many will share the same opinion as you.
how does the wii stack up against the competition in my opinion it gets killed but i want to know your opinions.

the system wars is a good spot also too just bring alot of other wii lovers to back you up. ITS DANGEROUS TO GO ALONE. TAKE THEM WITH YOU.
Well obviously it does well since its winning, but also its games aren't so generic or repetetive and are more diversed, which is a huge win.

lulz. yeah, everyone knows that wii titles aren't generic, that's why they're called Wii [insert genre title here]. i mean what can you expect from a game called wii music? and how's milking 20-year-old franchises for not repetitive? you can only play mario and zelda so many times on so many different consoles before it gets stale. and yay for diversity, with wii you get 2,000 different kinds of shovelware, each one worse than the last.

Well, it kind of depends on what games you enjoy playing. Many Resident Evil titles are released on it, but the graphics are majorly inferior. Also, the Wii is an obvious choice for active people. A main point of contreversy is that many of the Nitendo titled games shy away from M-ratings and violence, but a few choice games like Mad- World and RE4, 5, etc. break that boundry. But in the end, you must decide for yourself. Good Luck and game on!
Games aside, I just don't think the Wii is a very good console. The whole thing is based around gimmicks. Motion control is lame and there are no more unique or intuitive ways to use it anymore.
