Yea... I was playing smash with a few friends, and after a massive upset involving me using pikachu and UNLEASHING the POWUH OF THE POKEMANZ.... My friend didn't take the loss so well, as I rubbed it in his face. So he tried to cross the room to grab me, and was saying something like, "You are so dead!" and I was backing up,  still holding the controller, and the wii fell off of my entertainment center. The wii was 3 feet from the ground and it landed onto my floor.

We all gasped...staring at the wii as it just stood there, on it's side....

Then we looked towards the screen...the game was still running... and I fixed it all back how I had it... and turned it off and checked to see if it worked fine...and it did XD

Incredible, although I'm not surprised with it being a nintendo product, they're built to last and survive car crashes if need be. You should've beat your friend with the wiimote though.

Nintendo systems have always been durable & reliable.  My old SNES has a big crack & hole in the top of it and it still works.  Unfortunately the batteries in my games have long since burnt out.

Nothing wrong with a little sibling brutality.

the Golf war? that sounds dangerous....... well actually it sounds funny, just loads of people driving around in golf carts hitting each other with clubs.

My GF does that alot!

She always steps on the GC cord pulling the Wii off the shelf or knocking it on its side, the worst thats happened is the the fan stopped and I just poked it with a pen and it worked again. Very durable indeed, too bad the DS lite isnt though.

Edit: Pokemon Upsets are the best part of SSBM that and Luigi... They just shouldnt win!

Ok, basicly, me and a bunch of my friends were sleeping over at a friends house. I took my wii, and it was connected to the TV on the desk that I was sleeping under (it was the only place left). There was also a full glass of coke on the table. I got up to go to the toilet, and on the way back I tripped on one of my friends who was sleeping on the floor. i put my hand on the desk to steady myself, and pulled on the wire of the wii (I dunno which one), knocking it, and the glass of coke off the desk, drenching the wii. I quickly grabbed it and dried it up and it was fine.

Nintendo's product has always been durable. I want time accidently left my Gameboy game in my pocket, and then my mom put in the washing machine. She later put my pants in the dryer. When she was folding up my pants she noticed I left my game in there. I quickly check if it still work and it did.

All I've learned is that if you want to set the Wii upside down when playing, you can totally do it without any problems. Though, I don't know of any reason you would... I just did it accidentally. A couple hours into playing SPM I realize "hey, the Wii is upside down" The Wii's bottom and top look almost exactly the same...

My friend did that to my wiimote, she let go and it went flying towards the wall, but my wiimote still works fine.
