The World Ends with You vs. Final Fantasy IV

I am debating between both these games and would like to hear your opinion. Both have the same review score, and both look like they would entertain me for long periods of time.

What is the play time for both games (how many hours to complete)

Graphics? which is better

Replay value? is there any in either

and which is less frustrating difficulty wise?

TWEWY is a way better game. I loved everything about it. Even the annoying background music. I only played FFIV for about 20mins which is just long enuff to find out that its turn-based before I got sick of it. Altho it did kinda remind me of Tales of Symphonia (one of the greatest games for gamecube). But its turn-based:evil:. That's what I hate the most. It would have been great if it wasn't. So if you like turn-based games then get FFIV. But if you're a hater like myself then TWEWY is perfect!!!:D

well, actually, i didn't mention this earlier, but if you're anything like me, twewy will be repetitive as hell.

edit: FF4 is quite a bit harder than TWEWY.

haven´t played FFIV DS yet, but I´m in Barcelona right now and I have TWERY. The graphics are really nice, haven´t beaten the game yet but there´s probably little replay value, but the battle system is AWESOME. I will probably buy FFIVDS when I get back to the States, or import Rhythm Tengoku for the same price. I dunno, man, but TWERY is hard to find. But do get it if you can! It´s well worth the 40 bling.

as far as i know, the only final fantasy games that havn't been turn based were the spin offs, im suprised you didnt know thats how it would play before you bought it. on a side note, Tales of Symphonia is my favorite rpg i've played thus far.

TWEWY is one of the best RPGs I've ever played

so is FFIV, but FFIV can wait. get TWEWY now

Personally, I don't believe that a comparison of the two is appropriate. However, in terms of rarity I would pickup a copy of The World Ends With You as soon as possible.

Yeah, thats the idea, TWEWY is unique, you can compare final fantasy IV with another FF but you cannot compare TWEWY with anything...

replay value-the world ends with you
you can change difficulty on TWEWY...not sure about FF :S

In the end you should get TWEWY...great characters, great story, just a perfect game

Hmmm, Im going to go with Twewy since im not a big fan of the FF remakes. But I'd say in terms of graphics Twewy wins because its graphics style is completely different and works better on the ds then 3d polygons with jagged textures!

But hey, depends on if you want a great turn-based, strategic game get FF4. But if you want a more unique and fun battle system def. get Twewy.

Plus TWEWY comes with one of teh greatest soundtracks ive ever heard in a video game, Im listening to the music almost as much as I actually play the game!

The story has the same story style as a KH game, you dont really know all the secrets until you really explore and find the secret reports.
