all I gotta say...

Everytime someone makes a "Smash Bros should be on the DS" an Angel gets pimp slapped across the face.

The closest thing to Smash Bros on the DS right now is Jump Ultimate Stars. Its easy to play, its alot of fun, you don't need to know japanese, there are guides on this site that can be used for navigation, and if you find a Katakana chart online you can translate some of the words.

everyone seems to be putting down "jump ultimate stars" which yes, is very fun, but you're leaving out the original. Jump Super Stars doesn't have as many characters as ultimate stars, but its simpler and more fun if you don't know much japanese. Also the evolving system requires you to play so many freakin matches it gets annoying. I would recommend super stars before ultimate stars.
