Hmm... I was under the impression that one was already being made...
Oh, ok. Not already being made, but definately thought of. "We cannot confirm at this time in what format the new content will be delivered, but in the future there will be original games available for download through the Wii Shop."

Old article, but still applicable.
"new VC games" is a contradictory statement, as nintendo has said repeatedly the VC is exclusively for re-introducing classic games.
But all the rumors have been that there will be original downloadable content in the wii ware section of the shop channel soon enough.Â
I think Nintendo should make new VC games. Games that you can download that are brand new but like NES and and SNES level graphics. Other Devs might even get onboard. Think about playing a "real" Super Mario World 2 or Donkey Kong Country 4. Just a thought.Zero5000X
that would be a good idea, but they'd want more than 8 dollars a copy for developing an entirely new game

Like I said, it's already coming. Now what was that link....Â

that's cool, but what game is it. If that don't sell well we would likely not see any or much more. I do hope it catches on though, would be great. If they did do that, would they be able to make things more complex since the Wii obviously has more ram than the snes did and such or are there still limitations in that department?
