think we'll get many 3DS games announced at E3?

i hope they release the 3DS games on the eshop. I have a 32gb sd card and I'm getting a cosmo black (at least it think thats the name) 3DS if they don't reveal a redesign also with kid icarus and MK7 after E3, but I would much rather buy them on eshop on put them on mem card.....

They intend to going forwards apparently. though I wouldn't count on legacy titles like Kid Icarus and Mario Kart being digital anytime soon

No, they won't Development only started shortly after Kid Icarus went gold, it's completely impossible that they would have anything to show us this early.

They will show off the 3ds, I'd say the WiiU will be the last thing they show, the first 30mins or so will be on the 3ds, the rest and last things will the the WiiU, and hopefully a new name.

i think its going to be 40% 3ds, 60% wiiu. so i do think we will see quite a few 3DS games. some will be games we already know about like animal crossing..but more info will be released (hopefully including a release date). there will be some surprises and so on. i suspect there will be a slight shift to more casual and mainstream games also like kawashima. but only slight...no 20 mins of looking at one game like brain training. although a proper presentation on the wiiu is essential for ninty this year its also very important that they keep the 3DS momentum going also. if people get the impression that the 3DS is going to have another very dry period then they will undo a lot of the good work they done last year to get the 3DS firing on all cylinders.

I don't expect to see much in the way of new 3ds titles. More likely we'll get more info on titles we already know about(US release date for MH3g?) And then the rest of the conference will focus on WiiU.

Yes I think Nintendo will be putting a lot of focus onto WiiU and a small amount toward 3DS but it is to expected since the WiiU is going to be the new console and big on competition.

The 3DS is their flagship handheld, replacing the DS, so they'll focus on it a lot, I'm sure (and hope). Surely the WiiU will get lots of attention, maybe even the lion's share, but the 3DS should also have a strong presence.

As long as they release some real jrpg's I'll be good. The 3DS is REALLY lacking in that department. I'm not too picky, but I would like to see something like a new Final Fantasy game or something similar to that. I'm getting kinda tired of all these action rpg's we've seen lately.

I'm more interested in finding out more about the games that have already been announced, like Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario, and New Super Mario Bros 2.

I think it'll be half and half, but the half we get about the 3DS is mostly what we know with a few surprises. This year Nintendo is going to be focusing on getting the Wii U to market, the 3DS will do fine with some key software in the winter, but the home console business is their main focus for 2012, definitely.

It's possible. SF4 3D Edition was completed in a mere 6 months, I'm pretty sure Nintendo could easily show an alpha demo with a few of the main characters plus maybe some surprise 3rd party characters, and tell people about some new features in the game. It wouldn't be much, just a demo, they could easily show some something. I think we will see a ton of new games. I think a localization of Monster Hunter Tri G, maybe added Wi-Fi features, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Project X Zone gameplay. I think we will see an announcement of that rumored new RE Game, a Metroid or a Donkey Kong announcement, maybe a brand new Star Fox announcement. I could see a Street Fighter X Tekken port come to the 3DS. For Wii-U I think there will be a lot more surprises due to the fact that Nintendo hasn't confirmed a big first party game other then New Super Mario Bros. Wii, which really hasn't truly shown the new features of the Wii-U, I could definitely see like a new Star Fox by Retro headline the Wii-U's first party launch having incredible online features and maybe a 3DS version with connectivity to each other. I could also see a new 3DS Mario to come within 6 months of the Wii-U's launch. I could also see some UE4 confirmation for the Wii-U followed by a confirmation for a brand new IP. Anyways I think this E3 will be a huge surprise to everyone.

There will be a lot of 3DS stuff, much of it games announced already like Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion and NSMB2. They will show some 3rd party 3DS stuff and probably some network stuff too. 3DS is huge for them, leading to the Wii U and alongside the Wii U this holiday season. They aren't going to forget about it.

I think we'll actually see more 3DS games than we will WiiU games. My theory is that for the WiiU, Nintendo will focus on the titles coming between Launch and Christmas (and only really talking about titles coming after that if it's something huge like GTA V), and with that been rumored to only be a month gap, there won't really be that many, but they'll go into quite a lot of detail about those games as well as a lot of info on the system itself. With the 3DS, they'll be able to talk about lot more games, because they'll have pretty much from now till next E3 to talk about for that, but they'll spend a lot less time on individual titles, with the exception of NSMB2.
