1) How much are retail games on the DSi online store? Free to 800 points. 100 points = $1. Most of the good games are 500 points. Internet browser is free. :)
2) How many GB's in size are the games like Mario Kart, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, The World Ends With You etc etc, when you download them? You do not download those games. You have to buy the game in a store, like Gamestop or Walmart, and they are small little cards. You put the cards in your DSi when you want to play them. The DSi store games are saved onto your DSi.
3) Does the download store have a large library of games? Not yet, but it gets new games every Monday so it will grow. :)
4) What are the DSiWare games that are worth buying and how much do they cost? Any of the ART games; 500 points. Flipnote Studio is good too, and it's free.
5) Is there any other cool features with the DSi other than buying games online and storing them on an SD card? Cameras, bigger screens (guessing you've never had a DS before so it doesn't matter) Music Player, etc, etc.
6) What features will be added to the DSi in the near future? We don't know yet. ;o But nothing can be added that isn't improving what it already has.
7) What are the upcoming games on DSi that everyone is lookin forward to? You mean DS games. DSi games are downloaded, DS games are bought. Though DSi games are not yet released. (DS cards that only work in DSi's; not Lites or plain DS's.) Anyway, I'm looking forward to the new Pokemon games coming out in spring, Scribblenauts (more or less just for the hat), Miles Edgeworth, and Okamimiden. And Profs. Layton: 2 already came out so yeah.
You are offically a total DS newbie.
Wow. I was seriously misinformed, lol. I thought the DSi was all downloadable games like the PSP GO. I thought Sony made the PSP GO because of the DSi, making full retail games downloadable. Looks like Nintendo has some catching up to do. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. I think I'll still get the DSi. At least the extra option is there even if the DSiWare library is still a little thin. Who knows, maybe one day Nintendo will add full retail games to the download list. I've got quite a few GBA games I can play on it too like Zelda LTTP (awesome game). I'll just have to hunt around online and in game stores for the DS games I want. Thanks again.

Wait a minute, DSi doesn't support GBA games. It has no slot for them. DSL does.KALIBARRRThanks for the info. I thought GBA and DS games went in the same slot. I thought I wouldn't be able play GBA games on the DSi because the slot was removed because DS games were downloaded from the online store. Once I found out it still has the cartridge slot I thought I'd be able to play my GBA games. I don't get it. Why did Nintendo remove GBA support from the DSi?

To make the DSi smaller/slimer. GBA carts = 5x bigger then DS cards.

It would make the DSi bulky and unappealing 2. Nintendo has new plans for the DS and no longer needs the slot 3. DSi will be having it's own games that the other models won't be able to play and some other reasons, but I forgot.

Hasn't the DSi been out for a while now? Shouldn't it have a legitimate reason for existing by now other than to boost hardware sales? From what I understand, the DSi has been out for a while yet it still only has a few downloadable games worth downloading and no games have been made that take advantage of it's new features and it has no GBA slot? Why did it sell so well and why do people keep buying them? I think I'd be better off with a DSL.

Rumor says that the new Zelda game will be somewhat DSi-enhanced. And I wouldn't; that would be like buying a Gamecube after the Wii came out. The DSi will have DSi-only games, so why buy a system that you know won't be able to play new games in the future? =/
I wouldn't go out and buy a DSi yet,The only reason i bought one was becuase i gave my DS Lite away and i want to play Kingdom Hearts when it comes out but besides that the DS lite seems to be as good as the DSi. besides the the SD slot for downloading and the Nintendo store which still has very little to offer and the screen is a little bigger which is nice the DSi is kinda the same as the DS lite. The Dsi won't replace you ipod for downloading music the sound quality isn't that great.
