Thinking about selling DS lite and need opinions

Hi board,

I've been thinking about selling my Ds lite due to the fact that I hold no interest in any upcoming titles. I have zelda, pearl, the castlevanias, FF3, NSMB, among other great titles, but you can only replay these games so many times. So my question is: Is there any hidden gems for the DS in the future?

note: not interested in the new FFs, advance wars, ninja gaiden, and assasins creed.

That's all the games you've only played? I think you should try more games before you make judgement. Ninja Gaiden DS looks like a killer DS game to own. Then you have Advance Wars Days of Ruin, which takes the Advance Wars series to a whole new level in terms of story. If you haven't been into Strategy RPG's you can try out Final Fantasy Tatics and the upcoming Remake of Fire Emblem. There are also plenty of FPS games like Metroid if you haven't played it yet as well as COD, Brothers in Arms, and Dementium. Plus Quake Arena will be another FPS game coming out for the DS. If you were a fan of Phoenix Wright then you'll love the new Apollo Justice games. The best fighting game for the DS so far (in the US that is) Bleach. Whether you like the Anime or not, Bleach DS is one of the Best fighting games availiable for the DS.

There are so many DS games to play. If you aren't interested in the genre of the games, it won't hurt to try them out before making judgement. The list of games you have are good DS titles, but you need to explore more of the DS library if you want to see how good is the DS.

I wouldn't sell it if I were you. Like many other people already said, there still are a lot of good games for it. Also, if you sell your DS you won't be able to replay Zelda (for example) when you'd want that somewhere in the future. I would hate that :P

It's your DS so you should do with it whatever you please, but I would certainly regret it later if I sold my DS.

I wouldn't sell it. Personally, I'm looking into Project Exile, Dungeon Explorer, Insectide, and the Fire Emblem remake.

There's no need to insult the man... Anyway back on topic, in MY experience I've always regreted selling instead of just holding on to what I have. For example, I sold my original PSP when I got my 360 & I ended up having to repurchase one. I ultimately ended up spending more $$ this way & I had to replay some games I had already played. My advise would be to put it on a shelf and look at it agaain in 3-6 months then sell if you still can't think of a reason to keep it.

Pretty much what I did, but I had a psp for awhile then games started to dry out then jumped boat and never went back to the psp and I've been happy with my DS since Oct 07 :P.
