The first game was started by 3 guys working in an apartment, they've since added 2 more members of staff and according to the main programmer, the team think the game will be ready in at about 2 to 3 years.

Call of Duty on PS3: :| Please edit your post, you're misleading people.

The second video is a demo of Crytek's "CryEngine."

You must know Crytek, the creators of Farcry, you know, the game that was published by UbiSoft?

Well first of all, it's not the CG work of three guys.

Secondly it's not three guys, it's five guys.

Thirdly, they're not all artists, 2 of them are programmers.

Fourth, it's not just CG on a Mac, They have tech demoes of their engine running in real time.

Fith, the main programmer showed off the engine running in real time on G4TV.

Then the vid.google people should update their description.

But the main point is, what the heck does it have to do with the Revolution?

So it has nothing to do with the revolution

I think he/she means that the graphics look like the sort of graphics that make you say "Wow!". Now, where have we all heard that before? I think you now might follow.

So, graphics that require hardware that's almost definately more powerful than the Rev?  If we go watch King Kong, does that have to do with the Rev, because it has computer created models and graphics that make me saw 'wow'?

Of course they're not gonna say that it will also be for REVO, that would give away what nintendo has been trying to keep secret for almost 2 years now.

Or....because it's not for the Rev?

These people are attempting to develop a game- relatively indieish- for the PC.  They'd theoretically like to someday bring it to the PS3 or 360, but almost assuredly don't even have devkits for those systems.

They defintely don't have a devkit for the Rev.

Horrible analogy - King Kong is CG in a major motion picture (the amount of power that goes into that is not even comparable to modern video games). He meant that Miyamoto said that the Revs graphics "would make us say "Wow"" - the graphics shown in those demos make us say "wow".

I don't think this has anything in the least to do with Revolution.

This is what I found on there website:

=================================

Platform:

The game is targeted for next gen PC hardware. Xbox360 and PS3 are also possible and we are excited about bringing Project Offset to these platforms.

=================================

As you can see they have no plans make it a Revolution game, in fact it looks like 360 and PS3 were after thoughts.  Its a PC game at heart.
