If you don't like the color, http://www.decalgirl.com/Â
Anyways, all that other stuff isn't that important.
Those aren't reasons to make consumers want a better Wii...these are.
-Added compatibility...If Nintendo pushed the Virtual Console to insane boundries but didn't let original IP owners compress the original game then it would need to release a version with more memory. However a compatible USB hard drive would solve that problem.
-New colors...It's apparent that the only reason why the Wii hasn't had new colors by now is because somebody at Nintendo misunderstood that the short supply of the Wii is caused by the demand for the white-color Wii only. Anybody with more brain cells that that overpaid idiot would understand that the Wii is selling out because its the Wii, and that consumers are buying this version to exchange for a cooler-looking console in the future. If Nintendo really wanted to push agenda (which we know they don't have to) then they could offer upgrades for non-white systems only, but thats not good business, and thus won't happen.
-Super Smash Bros Brawl..This game will determine what version of Wii will be popular for the next 4 years. If Nintendo does ANYTHING to the Wii to market this game, then everyone that wants that game will get that version. I just hope its not retro controller only, because I rule playing this game on a PS2 controller and id rather that not change.
SirSpudly
PS2 controller?
lol funny you should say that, they could release a new wii and make it up too £245 and a new and old wii would still only be the price of a ps3Im not rich you know i wouldn't buy one again.....
dumbasskillers
i bought a DS even tho the DS lite had just come out. i liked the older one alot more because it looked more stable and i like the silver colour :)andyrulesliverThe Phat looks better I agree. The outside of the Lite is really nice, but I dont like the boxy inside and the buttons are kinda loose. Not that its bad, I just prefer my launch DS.
[QUOTE="Funkyhamster"]Make a DS-sized Wii. :|lol, then how would it play the games? :P Erm... put a giant frickin' monitor on it? They could sell little TVs with Wiis built in... And then if you wanted to plug it into a different TV, you could.
Seriously... they could probably do it in a year or two.
mis3ry
PS2 controller?
omgadam
it's not like they're forcing you to get a new one, they're making an improved one. the old one still plays new games. you could say the same thing about the ps2 with the slimline and the 360 with the premium and soon the zephyr.what i think is that they will...

what would really blow people's minds is if nintendo released a graphics chip enhancement like they did on the N64. There's no slot for it, like the n64 had, but they could figure a way to do it externally, through the USB port. I dont know exactly how the wii operates, but not that many people do. There isn't even a final release of the specs. ( or did I miss something?). I do know that there's a cheap chip out there, released relatively recently, that basically matches the chips that sony spent billions on for years, so the upgrade would cost like $50-100 for the consumer.GunSmith1_basic
How about we wait until the games are getting everything out of the Wii as it is before thinking about that stuff? :P
None of the ideas mentioned are going to MAKE anyone buy another Wii. Stop being silly.
