What are those for?  I didn't really think about it until I noticed how pressing the middle shoulder (neck?) button moves the inside part down.  Does it hook on to something?

Seriously, there's no official word on the function of the button and slots after a good 5 months of the system being on the market? I've posted about this before with no response, and even wrote to Pulse in Nintendo Power, maybe next month I'll get an answer. If not I'm going to keep sending the question until they come up with a response.

It's for the Wii Headband Attachment sold in Japan. It clips to a headband so you can wear your classic controller on... your head... Don't ask me, I don't understand Japanese logic.

It's probably for an organizer they will make, and it hooks on so you don't have them laying around everywhere all the time.
