These two games have become my favorite games of the year. Then interactive gane play made possible with M+ has revolutionized video sports games. I feel like i have played golf and tennis. Its such a rewarding experience for me that i am becoming addicted to these games. I work up a pretty good sweat with GST. The level of control i have over the ball is uncanny. I can place it anywhere on the court i wish. I am finally winning matches now...and i feel as if i have earned my skill. ( by the way, ihave never lost calibration with my M+, not even once) Tigerwoods is just as fulfilling. I have developed a great golf swing and i dont even need a meter to tell the strength of my swing. I have played these two games more in the last few weeks than i have most of my other games all year. Are any of you as blown away by these games as i am.

I haven't played either of the games, but I'm so getting Grand Slam Tennis. I've been anticipating it for, like, ever. I'm not into golf, it just bores me.

I'm having a good time with Tiger Woods. The controls are spot on and fun as hell. I could never go back to playing a golf game with anything but motion control.

Very impressed -- although Virtua Tennis for me instead of GST -- but it is pretty amazing how well the controls work. Being able to place the ball simply by the way you stroke it is a much more satisfying experience than any sports game before it. The improvement in putting in TW alone proves how well the M+ works! As well as the disc golf mode, it's all very impressive. And these were just the launch games with M+, I can only imagine what developers will do after spending more time with the device, and am looking forward to see how well Nintendo themselves utilize it.

I love both of these games. I bought Tiger Woods and I have been addicted to that game for a week now. I went out and rented Grand Slam, and let me tell you, I suck at it, but it's very satisfying. I played that game online and I always get my butt stomped. Oh well, it was very fun. I can't wait and see what other games that can totally revolutionized like these two sport titles.

TW is undoubtedly amazing. I have a draw in my real swing, and sure enough on Tiger I have a draw. I wish I could drive it 300 yards like I can on Tiger though. After six straight hours of play I was quite sore the next morning. My only complaint is the online. After about seven online ranked matches my record stands at 0-1. That one loss was my first online game 30 minutes after I opened the box. Every time I get more than three strokes ahead of anyone they quit out on me and It doesn't count as a win. I;m going to start tanking my matches to keep close and just hope they won't quit on the last shot.

and with as good of a game this is and the fact that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 has been out for two weeks now, I wonder if Gamespot is ever going to put up a review for this game. I love it and just can't seem to get enough of it!

Haven't decided on the Tennis game i'll get yet but definitively, these games have changed everything.

On one hand: It's the 1st time ever i've bought a golf game! And there's probably a lot of people in the same situation. I really think thatEA (Tiger Woods, GS tennis) and Sega (Virtua Tennis) will notice the increase in their sales and how the wii version outsells the other systems on this sports. (except GST because it's Wii exclusive :P)

On the other hand: i feel i never want to go back to regular controllers.

Ye this is a pitty, and not only in Tiger Woods, it also happens in games like Mario Strikers: Charged. People who just can't admit they play bad and leave so it doesn't ruin their score. That's cheating, and should had been worked another way... i'd say, 3 times disconnected/left the game - you get a loss. That would help in case it wasn't really your fault (like:dog unplugs the router hehe).

i wonder how could they implement WM+ on soccer games... i mean, not that it's really necessary, but soccer games are the only sports-based games i really care about, and i was wondering if WM+ could improve their gameplay in some way.

I have a love for soccer games also - the only implementations of M+ i can think of is for directing throw-ins, and maybe directing headers. directing passes and shots would be too difficult imo, and wouldn't be as effective as the IR passing/shooting in PES. I don't see M+ taking over a soccer game. Unless you want to strap the remote to your foot of course.

I don't like sport games very often but from what I understand they revolutionized the genre and are some of the few multiplatform games to almost universally score higher on the wii than the HD consoles which is an impressive feat, namely Tiger. Again not a sport game fan but I like what they've done for the wii

Well , what other golf game would you buy instead?

btw, just noticed at VGchartz that Tigerwood Wii seems to be selling good: http://vgchartz.com/aweekly.php

#4 on the weekly sales, #10 on the monthly, was expecting a bigger difference from the X360 and PS3 versions but it's alsotoo soon to say for now...

You and GS would be wrong. I personally cant see how the game controls could be any better.

hard to take a GS wii review without playing the game. I haven't played GST yet, but have been playing TW 10 since launch. watch out! playing 11 rounds in a day can be painful (ouch).

I just rented GST and I have been playing for a couple of hours.I must say that it is great. I love playing tennis and I feel that the next time I play I will be a lot better just from playing this game. I was going to rent Virtua Tennis but none of the stores had it. I am really looking forward to a sword game that really utilized the Motion+.

That is why I laugh when I hear someone talk about the 360 or PS3 versions being way better. Yes the online and the visuals are better but why would you ever sacrifice a completely better core gaming experience for its side features(online play and graphics). Not to mention the online works great for the Wii version and the visuals are getting better.

JERM...respectfully...disagrees

TW10 is my game of choice right now. I highly enjoy the online play and greatly enjoy the responsiveness of the WM+ during the various swing types/methods
