Nintendo said that they were planning on releasing a Wii 2 by the end of the year. It sounds like they've definitely given up on the Wii and it's hopeless titles from third party developers. Is it due time to get rid of it, while te hype is still scarcely alive? Please help, and thanks:)

You do understand that consoles take many years to develop? The fact that they said they were working on their next system (and you can be sure Sony and Microsoft are doing the same) doesn't mean it's being released any time soon.
