Double Dash was good, but it was probably the worst in the Mario Kart series. I wouldn't put it on there. Also, Soul Caliber is a great fighting game, but I don't think I'd put that on the top ten either. But I especially agree with your placement of RE4 and MP1.

I think you meant to say Soul Calibur 2 with the one with Link.

Your topic title is applicable for me as I never owned a Gamecube, I have played all the games you have listed, its a solid lineup.

It would be nice if someone creates a Top 10 for those who never owned a PS2 but own a PS3 and never owned a XBOX but own a X360

I was thinking about picking up some gamecube games...but then I have to buy more controllers and a memory card. I just can't decide if it's worth it.

Despite the backwards compatability connection, this should be on the GameCube board. But as long as it's here, I'd not going to see Eternal Darkess there and not say it's one of the most overrated games I've ever played. Terrible camera, extremely repetitive combat. A total of what, 8 enemies? To top it off, you revisit the same locales multiple times, as if the level design weren't repetitive enough.

Metroid Prime is a hit and miss, some love it some hate it. I personally loved it. Also, some games that can also be up there are ikaruga, pikmin (2 is better) and if you like the game, Paper Mario 2

If this was on the gamecube board, everyone would have these games! It is definately for the Wii board.

Animal Crossing is the absolute most addictive game I have ever played, and I have about 3 months into it now, and see no signs of stopping. There are more good GC games out there than people think, and will do a lot towards helping you wait on the new wii titles.

Your list needs Skies of Arcadia. It is an epic 60+ hour RPG originally for the Dreamcast. The GC port is damn good as well and anyone who ever enjoyed an RPG should give it a try.

I also think Rogue Leader is much more fun than some of the games on your list (Im looking at you, Mario Sunshine).
