Tons of Capcom and Wii News

First thing, RE:UC and Z&W Sales world wide:
- Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles (Wii): 950,000 units sold
- Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure (Wii): 300,000 units sold

Second thing, Capcom is actually happy with Z&W's Sales

Third thing, Capcom comments about Bionic Commando Wii Petition

wow, i cant believe RE:UC almost sold 1 Million Units.

That's awesome news. I'm really glad to know that they're happy with Zack and Wiki sales.

RE:UC sales are also very impressive, and with RE4 selling over a million, they'd be crazy not to make more RE games for the Wii. :]

LOL... 2 things..... one I don't think my kidney is worth much.... two I really need to beat some of the games I already have.

If they are happy with 300k units then we may get a sequel! :D

I also suppose that it means Z&W was quite inexpensive to produce so that mean even more hope for a sequel! :D

Z&W is a point-and-click adventure game. There's nothing in fighting in that game.

Is that the same petition they had on ign? I signed that one too. The idea of using a wii mote to swing from buildings is just cool, even if I will probably look like a dork playing it. :)

It sounds like they are considering it, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I wasn't thrilled about Legends, but surely they can pull off a good 3d one if they work at it. I'd be fine with either classic mega man or mega man x.lenson

I hope its not Legends. I really hope instead of a spinoff they bring the 3d megaman as their main title.

Ya I can hope till my face turns blue. if there is an anouncement of anything like this at E3 that would just make my day.

I think RE: Umbrella Chronicles (and RE4: Wii Edition) pretty much guaranteed that there will be a new RE game for the Wii. It won't be RE5, but I'm sure they'll come up with something good. Hopefully a game starring Wesker with RE4/5 controls and that could cover what he was doing from RE1 to present. I know Umbrella Chronicles sort of did this, but the game was on rails and didn't delve into who Wesker is deeply enough, for me at least.
