Top 10 must buys for DS

I disagree with 7-10. The World Ends With You, FFIV, Professor Layton, and Yoshi's Island are better suited.

1) Mario Kart
2) New Super Mario Bros.
3) Zelda Phantom Hourglass
4) Animal Crossing
5) Pokemon
6) GTA
7) TWEWY (Even though I haven't played it, Lol).
9) Yoshi (Seems like everyone likes that)
10)Super Mario 64 DS.

Idk, it's hard to make one list to fit every DS owner. I love some games, but other people wouldn't really enjoy them.

A few changes i would made: 10. starfox -> FFIV DS 9. Kirby squeak squad -> Kirby superstar ultra 8. Ultimate mortal kombat? Possibly... Maybe i, unwillingly throw GTA at 8. 7. Transformers? I don`t think so. Yoshi island for 7. SM64 is ok. CT is ok... but maybe i would rank it as 10, instead of 5. 4. Contra 4? Well... in my humble opinion, contra 4 only appeal to its actual fanbase conquered with the older games. I mean the game is good and stuff... but the difficulty and the old way gameplay might turn off the newcomers to the series. I would rank TWEWY as 4. 3. I don`t really like FPS... but... metroid actually is not bad. Multiplayer would rocks if it wasnt for excessive number of hackers. 2. New SMB, yeah. 1. Mario kart, yeah. I don`t consider pokemon platinum a must buy. The series still appeal for the people and being a trainer is fun, but diamond/pearl/platinum isn`t nowhere as good as gold/silver/crystal. I guess i would consider heart gold/soul silver a must buy if they keep the gameplay on it like the original gold and silver. meiaman

The World ends with you is an excellent title but I have only played two of my games so far lol.

This is definitely blog material rather than forum material. Also the list needs pokemon, should probably include TWEWY (though I can't say from personal experience), and needs some castlvania game. I would also put LoZ : PH since it's a pretty awesome game.Hegna1

I Believe that Phantom Hourglass and GTA: China Town Wars should be in there istead of Transformers.

Honesty, no . . . but it's a game I considered getting while I was hunting down the top strategy games for the DS. Out of three reviews I read (GameSpot, IGN, and 1up), three reviews were quite unfavorable.

1. Mario kart DS Mario kart DS is the first ever time Mario has gone on a track on a handheld. It has a Ton of tracks as well as characters. This game has great multi play action and provides hours on hours of fun. It still has a Mario kart crazy items at your disposal. Its just plane fun if you have a DS you need to have Mario kart DS.gameninja13

That's not correct. There as a MArio Kart game for the GBA.
