what are your top 3 third party games of 2007 and why? Since theirs only 2 days left till 2008 (Here in NA) i think its fair enough to have this thread now.

My top 3 are:
1. Zack and Wiki
This game was my top third party game of 2007 simply because it used the Wii Remote so creatively and well, that it should be in every Wii owners library. Dont let the cutesy image hold you back from buying it, or else you'll be missing out on some great fun at a cheap price.

2. Guitar Hero 3
Its Guitar Hero. Its on the Wii. Its online. Its a fantastic and addictive game.

3. Medal Of Honor: Heroes 2

Not only does this game have THE best FPS control on any console to day, it also has 32 multiplayer online, without Friend Codes. Its really is one of the best Wii games out their, and it shows that developers are willing to put some effort into the Wii and take the Nintendo Wi-Fi Seriously. Good Job EA Canada.

Those are my 3, what are yours?

Obviously this is completely subjective, and let me say upfront that I'm not a fan of the FPS genre. I'm one of the few on these boards that favors the sports genre.

1. MLB Power Pros - the quirky Japanese graphics put some people off, but since my former all-time favorite baseball game was the original RBI Baseball, the graphics work for me. Incredibly deep statistically, agreat RPG mode to create a character and play him through college up to getting a minor league contract and being able to add him to a major league roster, and a very detailed season/franchise mode. Yet despite the appeal to statheads, the arcade action of playing games (when dialing back some of the manual controls) appeals to more casual gamers as well. Just an outstanding game. I'm in spring training 2009 in season mode and have played half a dozen players through the RPG "success mode."

2. Madden 08 - has some flaws, but overall is a solid game that is a blast to play. No, the graphics are not up to PS3/360 level, but graphics are not the be all end all for me. I still like playing the old NES Tecmo Bowl and the original Madden for the old 16-bit Sega. I'm in the 2009-2010 season in franchise mode.

3. Lego Star Wars - yeah, it's a port, but my 9 and 5 year olds just love this one.

My top 3:

1) Sonic and the Secret Rings - Awesome sense of speed, great controls, tons of unlockables, a great challenge, and lots of pretty graphics and such.

2) Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 - Oddly satisfying and addictive multiplayer packaged with a fun arcade mode diversion and a fairly solid singleplayer.

3) Is BWii 3rd party? Is Kuju 3rd party? Well, I don't know but if they are, my 3rd choice would be BWii. If not, I don't know what is.

1) RE4-Much better than just a port of the GC or PS2 version

2) Sonic and the Secret Rings-Not just an average Sonic game

3) Lego Star Wars-I may be a teen, but I loved both 1 and 2, so I wanted them together on the Wii. Also I love Star Wars and the Legos make everything better and funnier

2. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock - What can I say? My first Guitar Hero and I love it

3. Medal of Honor Heroes 2 - Superb online multiplayer. Isn't that why we got this game?
