top 5 RPG's

I just realized how many good RPG's are on the DS and now I am wondering which are considered the best? So what is eveyrones favortie RPG's on the DS? Top 5 or 3 or 10 I don't care :P. I am really hoping the 3DS has this many RPG's but with graphics and such more like what you would expect from FF X, Baten Kaitos, Tales of Symphonia and so on.

Is DQ IX better then the others on DS? V I think it was looked the best in the reviews I saw. Also, Mario and Luigi: BiT, I hear is amazing and a lot better then PiT? I never got into the M and L games for some ODD reason, as I love Paper Mario.

I don't have many RPGs for the DS; but Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story are excellent RPGs.

Just out oc curiousity, what would you guys say has the most customization and exploration? It is really hard to differentiate the RPG's from the video reviews I watched, as they just are not thorough enough. Why wasn't Baten Kaitos ever made on the DS like they said they would?! :'( lol. I would love to see one on the 3DS but I am pretty sure that series is toast.

golden sun (GBA) golden sun: the lost age (GBA) pokemon (series). believe it or not i don't really own many RPGs for the DS... O_o and i know you asked for DS games, but golden sun can be played on the DS, and if you consider it's the best RPG series ever... it deserves to be mentioned :PBrunoBRS

Lol, yes they are not DS games :P. They are pretty great though. I think I am almost done the first one right now.

I've only played the M&L games. Mario & Luigi Bowser's inside story is the better one. Great battle system, and humour, and overall great. Partners in time wasn't THAT good. It was so downgraded in every way, when compared to it's predecessor superstar saga. Battle system was only OK.

1. TWEWY-Who doesn't love this game? It's great!

2. SMT: Devil Survivor-Just amazing, it's SMT and it mixes RTS and RPG extremly well

3. Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story-Much better the PiT if you ask me, and both are amazing games, so BIS it is!

4. Pokemon HG/SS/Plat-HG/SS are better then Plat in my opion, but out of the P/D/Pt Plat wins, so included it must be!

5. Sands of Destruction-I find this gem a very under rated classic, and I like it alot.

Golden Sun DD and Pokemon Black/White are most deffinetly going to be on this list when they realease.

TWEWY's battle system looks awful, and the world bland. I am not being harsh I am stating what I saw in a video review and I wish I understood what made this game so great. If you could shed any light on this, it would be MUCH appreciated lol.

my personal top 5:

1- SMT:devil survival (lots of customization, nice plot, great characters, and it's a bit more difficult than your average RPG)

2-The world end with you(good plot, great characters, and the battle system is innovative)

3-Chrono Trigger(A remake of an epic RPG, but the graphs should have been improved)

4-Pokemon HG/SS(a remake of my favorite pkm games ;P)

5-Final fantasy: tactics advance(great gameplay, lots of costumization but lacks a story and decent characters)

Lol, what is good about it? the Battle system looks over complicated and the world looks boring. All i saw was IGN's video review though. The only reason the game really catches my eye is the pins. That is super cool. Anything that allows for more customization makes me happy! :)

Lol, what is good about it? the Battle system looks over complicated and the world looks boring. All i saw was IGN's video review though. The only reason the game really catches my eye is the pins. That is super cool. Anything that allows for more customization makes me happy! :)
