depends on how it's used. some games make it work ok. but none of my games use it for much more than little things or in diddykong racings case annoying gimmicks.

Contact didn't do too bad with it and i find in most games the touch screen is really good for menues.

I don't have any of those games that use the touch screen almost exclusively as they don't interest me in the least however. So i can't give much of an opinion on those.

well, that depends on the game. if the game works well with the touch screen than yes. I personally don't really care for it, I hate playing Metroid Prime Hunters for the point that It's just not comfortable for me to hold the stylus (hand cramps suck); thumb stylus' can solve this problem as I figured out one day. I would just like to say that some developers use the touch screen well and some make me want to through my DS across the room.

I think its fun but good to handle, because in games it is such a nice thing to have an touch screen were you be able to just touch is only to do some things. Look at pictochat, when you want to type you are way faster with the touch screen then with the buttons.

Heres a similar question:

Is Guitar Hero fun with a Guitar Controller?  Yes.

Would GTA be fun with the Guitar Controller?  um.  No.

So basically, when its designed well, and uses it approprately, yes, its great, other times, eh no so much.

Elite Beat Agents is great use of the touch screen.

yea. the ds touchscreen is only good for some games. like wario ware works pretty well. and elite beat agents is pretty good too.

and even metroid prime hunters might feel really good for some people but might feel really awkward to others.

I think it works great look @ mario hoops and disney meteos, great games to play w/ the touchscreen.  I do however think it takes a while to get used to once u get used to it though much fun to be had.

Meteos, Kirby: Canvas Curse and Elite Beat Agents are all perfect examples of how the touch screen, although it may seem a bit weird and awkward at first, can actually make games work, and work well. :)

I've been playing MPH for a while now and didn't get any cramps... just my legs, cos i cross em when i'm at my desk :P. Of the games i've played, I think MPH is the best for touch screen... you get stuff like Rayman DS and asphalt GT that virtually dump the idea, but i guess its understandable - you've got to realise that just cos it has a touch screen doesnt mean you HAVE to use it... its like a PC, if you get one and its totally high specs, super PC, you dont have to use them... for all you care, you could buy it just to play solitare! :P. So yea, the consoles fantastic feature is the touch screen, but its not the primary feature... the primary feature is most likely the new technology abling you to play PSX type games. touch screen to me is just a bonus on the DS... like with resident evil: deadly silence, you can play as you do with the d-pad and a,b,x,y... AND your able to slash the bloody creatures up, but thats a bonus.

I'd say the Touch Screen makes it alot better.. With most games anyway :)

If you've never used it before though, Warioware: Touch(ed?) is a great first game. Lots of mini-games to help you get used to the whole Touch Screen. :)
