trade in the old ds

hey guys im getting the black and red ds lite for my birthday on november 25, and i have the old silver ds, now im currently broke and want to buy zak and wiki, so trading in that ds will get me like 30 buks and i have 15 soo ill have enough, but just one question should i go through with the trade, i wont miss my ds much till then because im only really getting good games for my birthday, but should i keep it for like if i go to th ebeach or just dangerous locals other than my house to play, or is that dumb

I think you should keep it. I still have my old one I got when they first came out and I dont plan on getting a lite any time soon. so just keep it.
