lmao. not much. gamestop only pays you 10% of what they will sell it for. thats how they make a profit. so youd be lucky to get over $50. i agree with the ebay comment. thats always better than gamestop

When i traded my Wii in two month ago, i got $180.00 for the wii, about $60 for Wii Fit, and a additional $100 for assorted games and some more for some accessories. Plus i sweetened the deal with a DS lite and games. I got a little over $600 in trade-in.

If you seriously sell your Wii to Gamestop then I'm sorry, you are an idiot.

Do you know that Wiis are still selling like hotcakes? You could sell a Wii at Ebay for around $350. Even the Wii Fits are selling for $150.

The DS was about $75.00. I got them during a promotion. They were giving good prices for trade ins...the more you had the more value they gave..I had a lot of games...and it added up quick. Many of the ds game actually were worth more than the Wii games.

Lots of games for the Wii are going for $20-$25 when you trade in or sell.

Don't be stupid!

SELL IT ALL ON EBAY

On the weekends a WiiFit sells around $150-$160, and you'll get at least $225 for the Wii.

You can find an eBay reseller in your area if you can't figure it out yourself and they will take about 25% of the final value from you, but still that beats the crap out of GameStops prices.

Not very smart there are ya? Trade in value for a Wii, last I looked, was like $160-180... and they sell used for $229, not exactly 10% is it? If you're gonna hate on a company, atleast have your facts correct.

cash?! someone's liein to ya. they never trade real currency for games. they only give ya that in store credit crap. maybe if i got my $20 out of a system in real money i wouldnt hate them as much, but still they dont pay anywhere near enough. my friend has a 360 elite he wanted to sell and they only gave him $60 for the system. and refused to pay it in cash. the only time they ever have givin real money was waaay back before they turned into what they are now. back then you actually could get a good price for your games

We're actually using this in Marketing CIass as an example of how companies make huge profit .

Srsly though, use eBay, or craigslist, Gamestop rips you off, and sells for me. It's so pointless to sell there, plus the gamestops I go to, the guys that work there are complete jackasses, and have no idea what they're talking about "Final Fantasy X? Have you played the other ones? You need to play the other ones to understand the story" :|...

Ebay is way better I always get like $10 or $15 less than retail, and you dont have to exclusively spend your money at gamestop.

Its funny, you say GameStop doesn't give cash back.. I coulda swore I handed that guy cash the other day for his games he traded. I could be mistaken, but they were green pieces of paper... and a few coins. Like I said in my previous post, If you're gonna bash somebody.. get your facts correct. As far as GS not wanting to give cash back for the guys xbox, the only time GS doesn't give cash back is one of a few reasons.

1.) The customer is under 18 years of age. And in some stores, customers under 18 years of age are not going to be tradin in games in any event.
2.) They didn't have adaquate(sp?) cash in the drawer to give cash back, and this does happen as I've had it happen to me personally.
3.) The customer had performed too many cash trades in a certain period of time, All trades are subject to manager approval and can be refused.

Air_wolf_cubed: I'm not defending my employer, Only stating my personal opinion on the incorrect facts that child_of_lileth are using to attempt to bash a company he apparently dislikes. If he(she?) was saying stuff that was tru, then I wouldn't say anything about it. A lot of people like to baselessly bash GameStop for some reason.
