Does anyone know how much trade-in-value you get for the old nintendo ds. I really would like to sell it for an onyx ds lite. Also, the barcode on the bottom of my ds has faded out. Do I need the barcode when trading in the ds?
Well, you can do eBAY, but I don't like doing eBAY bids and stuff, but if you're really in need just sell it to gamestop. A while back I tried selling my PSP to they wanted 64$ in credit! It was in the case and everything. I ended up selling my PSP to a friend of mine for 110$. Maybe try selling it to a friend?
you can sell your stuff on amazon too you know. whatever you do don't sell it at gamestop, they will rip you off. ebay is also good but you might get less than other places online because its very competitive.
You should have traded it in when the ds lite came out. I traded mine in with the extra $20 credit and got $70 for it.

Great suggestion. Wow. He didn't ask what he should have done, but what he should do now. "You should have not purchased a DS Phat but instead waited for the redesign." Alot of people on these forums don't have easy access to selling their stuff on ebay or amazon, both of which can be a bit of a pain if never done before. Your best bet is to wait around and see if a deal comes out from the game stores for trade in credit (they do pretty frequently) or try and find a buyer through one of your friends.
Advice much appreciated guys. I might just wit for some deals to come out. I'm not in a real hurry to trade in my ds. As long as I can play my games, its all good. Thanks again.
I stopped trading in my games and systems years ago. Gamestop is like the pawn shop of video games. They buy low and sell high. I can do better on Craigslist and eBay (and have). And if I can't sell them I just keep them. Getting $3 for a game at Gamestop only to see them flip it for $10 or more is something I can't live with. I want to make a profit too xD
