Transfering Game Saves

Can you transfer game saves using an SD memory cardfrom one Wii to another. I am getting a second Wii soon (moving, leaving one at home) and was wondering if I could take my Zelda game save (and VC games) with me.

Any info will help.

Also, any memory recomendations (brand etc) would be appreciated.

All SD cards work on the Wii, get the largest for the cheapest.

No, you can move Virtual Console games to the SD card. Why you would since Nintendo offers you unlimited online storage for all your games is beyond me but you can.
