Treyarch Confirmed as MW3 Wii Developer

"The Wii has grown so much as a platform," Bowling said. "The great thing is Treyarch proved that you can have an awesome experience on the Wii with Call of Duty. They'll actually be handling that for Modern Warfare 3."

Treyarch is no stranger to developing Call of Duty games for the Wii. The Santa Monica studio was responsible for the Nintendo console iterations of 2009'sCall of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Reflexand last year'sCall of Duty: Black Opson the Wii. News

These are from Treyarches last game, Black Ops. IMO this can't be anything but a good sign for Wii owners, especially with how far Treyarch has come in Wii development. Black Ops is by far the closest quality online to other consoles that I've played. So, with the Wii version being their sole focus, MW3 should turn out great :D

Treyarch just gained some of my respect, taking a game that would not be on Wii and making it possible. :)

Treyarch is a much better dev than Infinity Ward, IMO. I might buy a Wii version (as well as a PC version of course) just to support them.

I really hope they give updates for the maps like they did with Black Ops for the 360/PS3. But their online experience rivaled with the competing consoles and to them, I give respect.

I'll be getting MW3 on the 360. The Wii is great, but when it comes to multiplats, the Wii loses in terms of graphics.

Treyarch only ported MW:R, they developed BlOps and WAW
