Heres to one hell of a rpg ---------->

This is my favourite ds game. *sigh* Can't wait for my ds to get fixed.

WTF why does Josh get the smallest pic? He's like, the main character. The big cheese. Yeah.

This game was like a breath of fresh air, and it came from Square Enix, of all companies.

i really should get my hands on this game sometime, seems to be quite different from your typical rpg what makes this game stand out above most other rpg's(on the DS or not)?kidcool189

First off, you hardly have to level grind at all, but you will want to because the combat is just so fun, you control two characters at the same time, one on the top screen and one on the bottom, and you can pull of limit breaks and all that.

Secondly the soundtrack and the setting mix together so well. and

Thridyl the story is soo good, possibly the best story in any game media ever IMO, its like one of those CIS shows where the give you little hints at whats happening but leave you geussing and then they completely suprise you.

4. graphics and art style are amazing.

5. when you finish the game you can unlock this kind of new game + mode, but not only that it's a pretty long rpg and it's worth your money.

6. It has this ratchet and clank leveling up like system called the pin system and the pins you level up transform into new pins that get even stronger.

7. you wear clothes instead of armour and such and because it's set in Shibuya, the clothes might be popular in one area which like boosts thier defense but not in another.

8. you can make yourself weaker to increase the amount of treasure and exp the enemys will drop.

9. if you haven't found one thing on this list ^^^^^ by now you are hard to please

10. You can choose if you want to fight monsters or not, there is no random battles

11. you can listen to all the music after you have collected it in game.

12. KK just go buy it latyter

Probably the best game I've played in the DS.

Heck yes, this is a thread I can get behind. This is probably my favorite RPG of the last few years, and I a play an awful lot of RPGs.

It's all of the little details that I like: the 13 brands correlating to the 13 animals of the chinese zodiac, the item descriptions, the pedestrian conversations, and the foreshadowing you don't even notice until another playthrough. You can tell a lot of effort went into this.

It was good, Ive played tons of better RPGs though.

All in all I find it overrated.

Best DS Game. Best RPG this gen so far as well. (Played FO 3, Oblivion, Mass Effect and all those other top tier RPGs)

An amazing game with so much to do. It appeals to beginners, as well as hardcore players. There's a ton to do after the game is finished as well, I do agree it gets a ton of hype, but it's nearly all deserved.

My favourite rpg this gen, and probably my favourite ds game along with Hotel dusk.

Wow I must be one of the very few people here who find this game quite overrated. Don't know how it gets so much love tbh.

It is one of the best RPG for the DS, it's addictive, charming,& I love the convient changing of days, so you can still power them up, but still can revisit parts of the game you like or didn't quite get.

I loved the game. By far my favorite game on DS and one of my favorite games overall this gen. Great story, characters, artstyle, soundtrack, customization, and an awesome and fun combat system like nothing I had ever seen before. Every DS owner should give this game a try.

PREQUELS ONLY PLS. i need more information on josh, and not some sappy fanfic either (even tho some are pretty juicy). and neku, ho boy. i wouldn't want to play a game with his ears showing. he looks SOO much cooler with his 'phones on.

but seriously, this game is sooo good. i bet you a bajillion dollars that if you asked me if it was good, i would say yes.
