Awesome game, terrible difficulty level. The adventure took me through many great locales, and it had a great story, but it failed to present ANY challenge at all. The bosses all looked cool, but died WAY too easily. Make me sweat a little Nintendo, come on!

If it were a patchable complaint, that's one thing. But in addition to the enemies doing next to no damage, they completely lack aggression in their attack patterns. Kinda bums me out. I mean, I want to go back and play through it, but there's gonna be nothing different. A real shame...

I agree: TP was incredibly easy, not as much as WW, but I found it nearly impossible to die. The bosses were spectacular but ridiculously weak, especially the underwater fish you have to grapple unto: that one took me like one minute to defeat.

Yes, the bosses were disappointing. Especially Zant, I can't believe how easy that was! I was disappointed. I haven't gotten to Ganondorf yet- close though- so we'll see. The dungeons were fairly difficult though. The quests were difficult, if not extremely boring (not all of 'em, just collecting tears). I was fine with the difficulty level, but I still would want to see more difficulty in the next game. Maybe I'll try to beat it without a guide...

Agreed. But I think we all can say that having the next game be a bit more difficult is a must. Am I right?!

Yes, the game was easy. I still enjoyed the story, travelling, and everything that you had to do in the game. You can certainly can get by with fairys in the game. Yet, you can do that in other Zelda games.

I agree. The only time I ever used a guide was when I had to solve the stone statues puzzle right before the Master Sword. the combat and especially the boss battles were way too easy. I think TP has the flat out easiest bosses of any Zelda title (no one mention CD-I !!) Yet, it still is such a superb game.

Twilight Princess was my first Zelda so i didnt think it was easy and since then i have played almost all the zeldas, and i would have to say phantom hourglass or wind waker are the easiest by far i died like twice in phantom hourglass and like maybe 5 times in wind waker.

Ugh, I hated that part. I had to use a guide, too.

Another difficult (and annoying) part was the joust at the bridge.

The rest of the game, however, was pretty easy.

i just started playing majora's mask a week ago and that is def. harder than TP. i got to the first boss and hit it 3 times and it didn't die. than i remembered that it was made before almost all bosses take so many hits to die.

don't get me wrong, TP was a lot of fun but i agree that difficulty needs to be a little higher.(not as high as MM. those bosses are almost impossible. great bay boss= ouch)

Yes; TP was somewhat easy, but at least it wasn't as easy as Phantom Hourglass. That one was RIDICULOUSLY easy.

The difficulty level in most of the 3d Zelda games has always been kinda low. Ocarina of Time never presented much of a challenge, and the final boss with Ganon was easy as heck. Wind Waker was more or less the same, only the final boss in this game was a bit disappointing because the battle itself did not last very long at all and he didn't require that many hits to beat. The only real challenging 3d game was Majora's Mask, but i never really liked that game in the first place.

I personally don't care about the difficulty level. If the gameplay is absolutely perfect, like most Zelda games are, then I could care less about difficult enemies. Besides, i like it better when you don't get hit as much, because it makes you feel more powerful.

Ah, Majora's Mask, which I rented and promptly hated. Don't ask me why, just something about it nudged me in the wrong direction. OoT was extremely easy, I actually did a speed run on the first dungeon in front of my bro once, his mind was blown, it might have been five minutes. Wind Waker was also hard for me, PH was completed on the same day I got it, and A Link to the Past was reasonably challenging. I don't know, TP was just very difficult for me. If they up the difficulty, I'll end up killing myself playing it (which is a temptation I won't be able to resist). I ended up buying my second guide ever (first was a Halo 3 guide my friend gave me) for TP.

you arent alone, majoras mask is very love or hate and none between, as for wind waker, god that was easy, however a link to the past was freakin hard as hell

and tp was pretty hard, maybe i missed something, and as for phantom hour glass = terrible, i have never hated a zelda game but that one is close, mighty close!!!

So yeah, Twilight Princess I'd say is a step up higher from Windwaker's difficulty but still pretty easy

A Link to the Past was pretty tough however, oh.. I remember. And once you get the hang of using a stylus to play the entire game Phantom Hourglass becomes second nature- Hell, it made it easy to play while laying down on my belly- one-handed playing ftw!

ses were easy dungeons themselves were harder but i think the bosses were just easy for those who have played all the games and know every stradegy possible i mean there are so many zelda games they basically had to make the bosses die the same as in some of the old games and your brain remembers fighting that old boss and mastering that strategy and putting it into use again. fact is, zelda tp kicks $@#

Same here. The rest of the game was too easy. I would have appreciated more difficulty where combat was concerned.

That's what Nintendos new patent that everyone was talking about is for. The one that allows you to access a guide in game or just skip any part that is too difficult for you. This implies that there will be parts that are difficult (Duh). With such a gameplay mechanic, Nintendo could make Zelda as hard as I Wanna Be the Guy (Someone post a link) and the "casuals" could still get through it. The only problem I see is that I'd be tempted to use it too often.

Yeah -- I agree with you. Though I think past experience from other Zelda games have contributed to us. I think Twilight Princess was more difficult than Wind Waker or Ocarina, but not quite to the difficulty level that I'd want. And yes, I think more bosses with different attack patters and better A.I. would be great. Personally, I felt that the last fight was rather easy and somewhat disappointing of a battle.

I just started playing it. I'm at Kakariko village, and so far the difficulty is on par with OOT. I'm not too concerned with difficulty. So far, the game is extremely well made, and fun>difficulty. I am in love with twilight princess so far, I'm sure the game will get better as I go on.

this was my first zelda, so i thought it was pretty hard, and long, but i liked it. i hated the part where you had to escort the carraige to kakariko that had the kids, ilia, and the zora prince. i hated that horse who was oulling that carraige!

When I played A Link to the Past, I died 45 times in the game, and was constantly filling up my bottles. In Zelda, the only times I died were in that level 50 thing where there were 3 Darknuts at the bottom.

TP was much easier than other Zelda games, especially the 2D ones.

Twilight Princess was my first Zelda game and I fail to see why people badmouth it so much. The difficulty was just right and the enjoyability was through the roof! I also fail to see why people love Wind Waker so much. Twilight Princess= second best Zelda game ever (first being Ocarina of Time 8))

why do some people find this game difficult? well, i dont know. hahaha, I thought it was pretty easy. I never died, or anything. I mean, even the final fight was pretty darn easy. Yeah. I thought OoT had a decent difficulty and Mayora's Mask was kinda hard at some parts too. PH = piece of cake. Hated it that little non zelda game.
