Twilight princess fishing

i cant stand the fishing in this game. anyway i cant get the reekfish!! i have the coral bait but i cant get the fish heres how i do it.

1. i throw the line
2. the bob sits there and the fish simply makes little tugs
3. the fish runs away
4. i dont catch anything.

is there a better rod i can get or is there something wrong with my technique????

You need to realize that you don't pull up after it says FISH ON, you have to wait until the bobber dips down, pull the WIimote up and hold it above your head, and you're set. And I bet you $5 once you catch the fish you'll come back to the forums saying you can't put it in a bottle.camzaman

guess what YOU WERE WRONG!!!! i started fishing and the fish started tugging on it and i pulled it up and what happens? well hmm maybe NO fish?and the fish ran away.
