It means nothing. The guy writing it is just having a bit of fun. If Nintendo was going to tell us something like this, they'd have an official announcement, not as an insignificant post on a characters twitter account.Head_of_games

Ahh you beat me to it! I'm not too sure if it's real, but it doesnt sound Nintendo-like to tease a game that may never come out! Maybe Nintendo worked something out with, Whoever the creator was (can't remeber his name!). Or maybe it's just to promote the new Layton game! The thing that strikes me is it also says something Mega Man, Geno, and Little Mac...Why put them into it! Nintendo isn't like that... It could have been some bad Nintendo employee trying to make fun of us...it could be some bad Nintendo Employee LEAKING ingo out of nintendo! Or nintendo isn't being Nintendo-Like an is just messing with us! I'm not going to get hyped for this, but i would love it to be true!

Try thinking of it like this (if it is ttrue)...Nintendo may want to draw people to their Twitter account! They can do no better than useing it like Dojo for Brawl! They can also use It to bring light to othernot as knowncharacters (Proffesor Layton) to draw sells! It may be eaier and less time consuming for nintendo to just start doing everthing on Twitter. This could be the start of more proffesional Video Game Companies using twitter...or it is the boring fact that Nintendo is just Using it to help Proffesor Layton Sellls in America...Nintendo knows...America LOOOVES Smash Brothers!

Simon would easily fit into smash bros and he would be the best choice from that series. If this twitter rumor is indeed true it would be pretty cool since i was hoping little mac would be a playable character since melee.

I know what you mean, believe me im not getting my hopes up since its more than likely nothing will ever come of this and it ends up just being BS. But I agree Isaac should have been in the last game though, but perhaps the character from the new DS one would get a spot now.

The one character I've wanted since the first smash bros. was Mega Man andhopefully its theMega Man from the X series for the SNES not the one form legends. That would be awesome and little mac would be getting a promotion from assist trophy to actual playable character which is cool. I dont know the other metion character, but these two would be good.

I just commented on this at GoNintendo! What could Layton possibly tease about? A new Smash Bros? Maybe, I said before E3 that I didn't expect Mario or Zelda to be there at E3 and their they were...:shock:

The ONLY thing I wanted in Brawl was Mega Man. If this happens idc how bad the internet is on the next game, I'm getting it.

I think Sakurai (thats it!) said it would be his last...that being said...people say that all the time...Nintendo doesn't need him to make another one.

Well, Layton is an obvious choice for the next Smash since he's probably the biggest new character from a new Nintendo IP. What surprises me is speculation of a new Smash already. I seriously doubt we'll see a new smash until Nintendo's next console.

Then again, that's what I said about the next 3D Mario game...

I hope it's DLC for Brawl, too early for new Smash Bros imo.

I hope so too but I don't even think it's possible. They ruled it out back when the game came out so unless they found some way to do it then I don't see how this is DLC.
