My friend and I were over at eachother's houses this weekend playing Wii and DS. When my friend came over to my house he turned on Smash Bros. Brawl while I was in the kitchen because I was thirsty. When I came back he told me he erased my data... I reacted calmly, "Ok why did-what the **** did you do that for, you son of a mother *******, *****!. You know how much **** I had to put into completing that ******* game!? Now I have to do all that **** all over again because of your stupid dumb ***!" So you can see I was mad. Seriously why am I stuck with friends that pull such stupid tricks all the time (oh yeah and that Ninja Gaiden game he game me for DS stopped working, he told me he bugged it right after erasing Brawl to top everything off.) I almost had every thing unlocked on the chart too. Now I have to do it again!
Wow thats stupid, I've got a friend who stole my ds game, later I asked for it back, but then he said he lost it, Then I found it and I asked for it back and he said that he had "Just got the game". But there are some pretty stupid people in the world.

Deleting all you Brawl files is good? That is why I trust and program computers, they never do anything you don't tell them to do. People make things worse. And don't tell anyone anything. If you do you will end up missing everyone.

Wow that really sucks. I'm super strict with my Wii. People have to wash their hands before playing with it after they eat. I also have a pretty strict food rule. Before I made these, my friends ended up spilling milk on the controller. When the milk hardened, the buttons were stuck up and it was kinda disgusting.
Lol, if I had a friend do that to me I'd most likely break an arm, a leg and take out an eye and 5 fingers on the other arm. That's why I'm so busy with work now and I haven't hung out with anyone in almost 2 years. I don't trust anyone anymore to come to my house and ruin everything that I've worked so hard to get, to achieve and to cherish. If I was you I'd go to your friend's house and erase all his game data, and beat the crap out of him and tell him goodbye. See, I mark my games with my signature that I can put on discs or whatever I have to make sure people realize that they can't be stupid enough to steal from me. I remember years ago when Gameboy was still cool with Pokemon Gold and all that. I had Pokemon Crystal, then a friend stole it and I had already marked it. So I go to his house one day months later and tell him that it's my game. He said he just got it, his mom bought it for his "good grades"(he was failing math, science, and was a dumb ol' troublemaker). I knew he lied and I showed him where I marked it and he got in so much trouble that I swear, his skin never went back to normal after his mom put her hands on it. He looked like someone out of an alien movie with purple skin all over. Good thing everyone knew that I marked my belongings with a signature mark. Either way, I'd just stop talking to that friend and kick him out of the house.

I deleted my sisters Super Mario World save file with everything unlocked and beaten.... Even the secret levels... wow do I feel ike a jackass.... I was like only 7 though.
If I were you, I would have kicked him out of my house for a day just so I could recuperate. While recuperating, I would judge various aspects of my friendship with him, such as how much time we typically spend together and how much fun I typically have with him. If he is judged well, I would forgive him, but would never trust him alone with my video games ever again. If he is judged poorly, I would never associate with him again.

This is a bogus idea. Why would you not want to have brawl transferrable? I only found this a few nights ago--like to back up my data after a few months. Brawl would not transfer! The whole idea of having memory is so you can use it on more than one machine. Who heard of a iPOD or hard drive that was computer specific? They could have a patch or something that could allow you to do it--if you can download games, why not?--so that idea is not out of the question. This is probably the worst mistake has ever done! Worst the the GameBoy Micro--don't ask. There should be a petition or something to push the issue, but I do not like politics.
In your case, your friend really is not a very smart for his age, is he? Memory cards do not exist for this game, so it looks like you might need to do something like play the game over again. Just to be clear, you should blame nintendo for not allowing data transfer and should get your friend a mental evaulation.

What? You can see the date without worring about anything. And topics don't get locked just because their old. Maybe you should worry about college other than this site.
I had a similar problem once but it was with my Melee data - which was much more painful to unclock all characters (damn you Mewtwo) - but my friend did it by accident.

As for your friend, is he really your friend? Either he isn't or there is an entirely different element into the mix. Please don't go hard on your "friend", is it really worth cursing or threatening him? That won't bring your Brawl data back any sooner, and have I mentioned, it's only a video game. A strong and wise individual would not succumb to the temptation of harming others in order to let out steam of the pot.
