uh oh......Jack Thompson going after Wii, Manhunt 2, and Wendys

Not content to sue (so far this year) the Florida Bar, the Florida Supreme Court, GTA publisher Take-Two Interactive and leading gaming blog Kotaku, game-hatin' barrister Jack Thompson has focused on a new target, burger franchise Wendy's.

In the latest issuance from his nonstop e-mail machine, Thompson turns his attention to Wendy's CEO Kerri Anderson. What's Thompson's gripe? Obestity? Cholesterol? The Frostys are too thick to suck through a straw?

Nah. It's Rockstar's upcoming Manhunt 2. So just what is Wendy's connection with Manhunt 2? There isn't one, unless you connect the dots the way Jack Thompson connects the dots.

With essentially no one left to sue, Thompson has latched onto a Wendy's promotional tie-in with Nintendo Wii toys

This guy really needs to find something better to do with his time. He also goes as to say this:

A dear friend of mine worked for Wendy's and with Dave Thomas closely for years. From that I know that Dave Thomas never would have tolerated the use of Wendy's good name to promote Nintendo's Wii, not with this game available on the Wii platform.

I'm thinking it might be to sue anything affiliated with video games .

He is seriously mentally ill, his articles are not a cry for reform, but a cry for his own attention. Not only are his untrue accusations rediculous, they are plain embarrasing and ill informed...

He is simply retarded.

He brings more attention to the "bad" in video games more than the video game themselves. For a man who spends his time accusing others and trying to reform, he becomes a hypocrite by exposing the bad in games, when the good always seems to out weigh the bad.

I have Grand Theft Auto, I have Ninja Gaiden, I have Chronicles of Riddick...

I also am 9 out of 635 in my class, I go to church 4 times a week, I've had the same girlfriend for 2 years, I'm an eagle scout, and I LOVE my friends...

And as a Christian, I realize that we are "human," we arent perfect, we arent "holy"... so why cant this despicable human being just admit that?

we ned to give ol jack a break, all he is doing is trying to protect the people who are too stupid to follow the esrb raiteing.  Im suprized he did not attack godfather  being able to beat up people with real like movements. Of corse we all know he only attacks Rock Star.
