Do you have any games that not many people know about, or are just not popular for some reason? What are they? Two that I have are Soul Bubbles (which might not be that unknown since I think it was featured on Gamespot's top list once) and one that was released recently, but doesn't seem to have that much attention- Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero. It seemed like it would be very childish at first but it surprised me; it's pretty good!

There are tonnes...and the most obvious reason for some is that there's no American or European versions. Mostly Japanese Games, and so i'll list some, these includes both new and old: - Tongari Boushi to Mahou no 365 Nichi - Rhythm Tengoku Gold (2nd highest selling game in Japan, 1st is FF: Dissidia on the PSP) - Phantasy Star Zero - San Goku Shi Taisen Ten - Jump! Ultimate Stars - Monster Farm DS 2: Yomigaeru Master Breeder Densetsu (Remember the good old Monster Rancher series) - Moero Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu Tatakae Ouendan 2 (The game that Elite Beat Agents copied and gained it's fame from) - Pinky Street Kira Kira Music Hour (May seem like a girlie game but it's actually quite a nice rhythm game) - Quickspot (Good Photohunt game) There should be tonnes more, considering the extensive game arsenal that the DS has.

Cool, I've only heard of two of those. The Japanese version of EBA (which are among my favorite DS games) and Jump. I'll have to look out for the others!

i think there are plenty of american released games that aren't very hyped or talked about:

legend of kage 2 (good cheap fun. 10 bucks at gamestop)
dragon quest heroes: rocket slime (also pretty cheap)
point blank ds (i think this game is a blast)
geometry wars: galaxies (again, cheap and addicting)
glory days 2 (hard at first, but it gets really fun)
lunar knights (just started it and i think it's fantastic)

just to name a few. there's plenty out there, most at really good prices.

I love Feel the Magic. That was my first DS game and still remains one of my favorite games for the system. It's just flat-out cool. And I don't know if you would consider it underrated, but Meteos was pretty good too.

I have Rocket Slime and Lunar Knights, and have heard of some of the others. I kind of liked Slime, but haven't even played Lunar Knights yet. I'm very distracted when it comes to games- I've barely played all the way through any I own. I get bored really quickly and want to try out other games, so I always end up abandoning things in middle.

I did beat Feel the Magic, that was an interesting one.

I love Custom Robo, I wish everyone who owned a DS had this game so you could have battles on the street like in the game.

Ouendan 2 is probably my most played game. Lunar Knights is a fantastic game. Insecticide had a neat setting. Trace Memory had some pretty interesting puzzles and I never really heard anything about it.

I'm looking forward to getting Elebits, the wii game was good and I like the whole setting. I can't really think of any other underrated/underhyped games I've played.

Black Sigil has been one I've been watching out for that has been in the works for the bit and hasn't seen much light. I'd have to say Mazes of fate and Orc's and Elves have really given me more than a few hours of gameplay on my DS as well and I feel those are two over looked games that need a bit of respect!

Man, there are so many.

-Star Wars Jedi Alliance

-Disgaea DS

-Nanostray 2

-Bangai-O Spirits

-Lock's Quest

-Etrian Odyssey (II)

-Age of Empires: Mythologies

The last few are especially obscure, which is sad considering their quality.

May be a long shot, because it was top 20 DS games of IGN, but I really really like Picross DS, one of the most fun budget games I played

Did you ever see the movie Monster House? It's an animated movie and a game was made based off of it. I don't recommend ANY franchise or games based off movies/ tv shows because it's all garbage. But this is one of a kind. The only game I've played so far where you use the d-pad to move and the stylus to control where your aiming. Picture top-down perspective cramped in a small room with enemies coming from all 4 sides. Gameplay is pretty repetitive, but the levels switch up a bit. Also there's 3 characters with different (water) gun styles. Watch some gameplay footage and decide for yourself. It's one of those games you'll never hear about..

I'm going to have a long list, some of these suggestions seem pretty good.

Oh yeah, Custom Robo was a lot of fun. I think I got stuck at the end though.

Blooddog, I've heard the title 'rub rabbits', but I never knew it was the Feel the Magic sequel. :)

jjtie, I don't usually try movie-to-game titles, but somehow I have Monster House. It's a time waster I suppose, but it didn't do much for me.

I got Monster House as a gift a while back. Sure the game was different but I didn't find it that great.

The difficulty was very uneven.

So because it was difficult it wasn't good? Or.. And I never said it was a great game, maybe implied, but something that's different and worth a try.

Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime - It's got a lot of fun and charm if you can tolerate the constant slime-based puns.
Feel the Magic XX/YX - It's no WarioWare, but that doesn't mean it's not fun.
Princess Debut - I'm not kiddng. If you like Ouendan/EBA, you should check it out.

Ok so I've tried a few of the suggested titles. I don't think Picross is underrated/unknown, but I got it and I like it- it's basically sudoku. The Rub Rabbits was good, Point Blank is kind of fun, and Rhythm Tengoku Gold is great!! (Know of any more like that besides for EBA and Oendan?) I don't like Meteos, never been into tetris-type games.

But I found another two games that I had not heard of that are a lot of fun. Big Bang Mini, and Mechanic Master. They're definitely worth checking out.

Panzer Tactics is a pretty good, unknown strategy game in the veins of Advance Wars. Pretty fun and it's based on World War 2.

Also I feel Digimon Dawn/Dusk was poorly rated and deserved much more than what it got. Personally I had more fun with it than Pokemon. Other than that I don't have any other games that would be considered underrated or unknown.

I agree with those that said Orcs and Elves and DQ:Rocket Slime, both are quite entertaining and have many hours of playtime on my DS.

Two other games I paid $10 apiece for brand new and that I also found quite entertaining are True Swing Golf and Space Invaders Extreme. Also, I'm not quite sure if Etrian Odyssey is "under the radar," but I have found it to be extremely fun too!

Can't vouch for Orcs and Elves or True Swing Golf, but I support Space Invaders Extreme (a true revision of the classic) and Etrian Odyssey (old school text-based RPG). Someone above mentioned Eragon and for a movie-to-game, it's one of the few (like MH), which actually is worthy mentioning. It's an action/ adventure game that follows the movie's plot.
