Unofficial Laelyn Region: Fakedex

My friend and I are making a FakeDex. It would be great to have your support. Our region is called Laelyn, and we've drawn about 40 Pokemon in the past coupla months. We've gotten so many fans over the past few days, and we appreciate it so much that instead of this being a poll kinda thing, we've decided to make this thread the unofficial Laelyn FakeDex. I'll be updating it when I feel like it.

NOTE: These are only rough sketches.

# 1 - Acara (GRASS): a mossy acorn Pokemon. Acara's sharp claws and tough disposition make it a stubborn Pokemon to handle. The leaf on its head turns yellow if it sense approaching danger.

#3 - Solacre (GRASS): a forest monster Pokemon. Solacre is the final stage of Acara. Its tail and leaf that it previously had was replaced with two large flowers. These flowers are capable are depositing large amounts of pollen in which this Pokemon is capable of utilizing as attacks.

#4 - Torbul (FIRE): a bull Pokemon. Torbul has a mean temper. If you make it mad, its horns and back light on fire. It combines this instinct with a flaming tackle to take on its prey or a threat.

# 7 - Shyter (WATER): an otter Pokemon. Shyter is a very shy, sincere Pokemon. It can summon water using the back of its tail, causing liquid to gush out. The water is so powerful that Shyter can tread over water with a continuous spray.

#10 - Tweedle (NORMAL/FLYING): a rainbow bird Pokemon. Tweedle is a very cheerful Pokemon. Its rainbow colors attract many in an almost psychodelic way. Many fall victim to the charm of this Pokemon.

#15 - Nightrite (BUG/ELECTRIC) A firefly Pokemon. Nightrite live in large colonies, illuminating the dark skies at night. Although a friendly bunch, Nightrite can store the energy that they contain inside to electrify anything in its way.

#2, if this was Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald, then #1 would be Shroomish, while #2 would obviously be Treecko.

Yeah, my friend thought up Shyter. His was good, but revamped him to look like more of an otter. My friend also had the idea for Torbul. However, I created Acara and Ungii.

Wow, awesome sketches...I love the water starter, I've always wanted an otter pokemon!

But in regards to your question, about which is a better starter, I'd say definitely number two.

Dude Acara is awesome, Ive drawn alot of concept pokemon on my free time as well, maybe ill post some soon. But if you plan on doing anything with those sketches, just know that people can steal your images online so be careful what you show if your pictures are worth it to you, but if its just for fun then its all good.jaygun007

Thanks for the idea! We'll take it to consideration. We are trying to use animals and things that Nintendo has never used before. Infact, we have a Psychic-unicorn Pokrmon in development.

Me too. But we already have sooo many grass Pokemon. And no, I don' think there's ever been Ice/Metal.
