ur opinion about wii

Why would you get the Wii if you think all it's games are stupid?

i m newbie here and i'm planning on getting wii too...me too considered of PS3 b4,but looking at it they are 2 totally different consoles.

Ps3 is for hardcore gamers like you and me, but wii too managed to come with great games to appeal to some hardcore ones...In terms of connectivity& online play, i think wii has the upper hand. Although ps3 and 360 have too, but wii gives more convenience for online playing.As what they have mentioned, wii has great games that you ll like too ;)for eg.SSBB, zelda,etc2.Trust me.(my acquaintance play online COD with teams of 8 >.

Just personally this looks like a blatant bash on the Wii, and not something that belongs in the Wii forum. But I digress, I'll bite your bait..

A console,  by definition, is neither 'hardcore' or 'casual'. Its up t o the software to define that if you want to attempt to say anything other than gamers are 'bhardcore' gamers or 'casual' gamers. A, imo, there are NO hardcore games, for example even tetris could be considered a hardcore game, Solitaire could as well.

As far as connectivity, you couldn't be more wrong. PS3 and More so the Xbox 360 have the Wii outclassed with its online services by miles. Theres no debating this among ANY gaming community.

Well, I will tell you what I think about the wii. My father bought it on September of last year. I was a great Nintendo Fan, loved Mario, and I thought that the Wii Mote was awesome. So my father bought it... I bought SSBB, Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy, all those top Wii games. After some months, my Wii got really boring. SSBB was very repetitive and the online was awful. Mario Galaxy had no replay value, Mario Kart was very good, but the items were unbalanced. I didn't play my Wii for like 3 months, and I was waiting for some great titles, and all I saw was De Blob, which I thought it was ridiculous. I waited more time for a good game... When I finally got tired of wait and I got really disapointed with Nintendo, I bought my PS3 in August. PS3 had better graphics, better games, better online, well it was much better than my Wii. I don't regret buying my Wii, I just think that Nintendo should respect their costumers with good games, I am tired of listening "We didn't forget about the hardcores, Madworld and The Conduit are coming next year..."

That is just my opinion, I really expected more from the Wii.
