if you mean to allow the wii to connect to the internet, it has built in wi-fi. If you are talking about allowing the DS to connect to the internet by using the wifi stick with the wii, i'm confused... I guess i don't understand what the wifi connector was for for the DS... can anyone explain? I don't know if it's something i need since im getting a wii and a ds at the same time

I use mine through the Nintendo wifi usb adaptor. Its easy to set up and works really well. It uses 400mA of power though and does get a little hot. Allows 5 different connections i think. That can be a combination of DS's and Wii's. I only use my Wii through mine, got a DS but don't have any online games for it.
