Microsoft was interested in having Halo be on the DS. Rare has stated that Viva Pinata spinoffs would be perfect on the DS. So they could workout a deal where a title franchise appearson the DS in exchange for one of the Rare titles to be on the vc.
Microsoft cannot put the Rare titles onto the xbox live arcade since Nintendo was the publisher. Note they could come to an agreement however it is likely that Microsoft would be the one seeking the deal since they want a huge chunk of the game profits a DS game makes.
Microsoft isn't going to have a title appear on the psp.

Well I'm squashing your hopes right now. If either title appears for download, it will be on XBLA not VC.
Back up your information, you cant squash our hopes with a statement like that. Better yet make a diffrent topic about this, this is kind of off topic. But that would make a good topic.There have been tons of discussion on this and I don't really feel like doing it...again.
Just becuase Nintendo published it doesn;t mean they have the rights to the game. And those right were sold away anyways when Microsoft scooped up Rare.
