Very competitive ds game?

im looking to buy a new game for my NDS, i really like online games with acompetitivenature (leader boards/stats/ranks). Ive played metroid hunters a lot im kinda sick of it, im reallyinterestedin pokemon pearl but i guess you need friend codes to battle people and that seems like to much work for one opponent. Im also playing advance wars right now on WiFi and i love it but theres no leaderboards or good stat recording.

Any ideas for a game i may like?

Mario Kart can be very competitive and very fun online. I know everybody complains about cheater/hackers and whatever, but to be honest, most of the people they complain about aren't cheating at all, you just have to know the tracks, how to use your jump boost on turns, etc. and you can blow anyone, thus people complaining your cheating. Heck, I'm happy when I come across a cheater in MKDS, I get to humble them the honest way. Definitely a great competitive game.

Also, the new Fire Emblem game is supposed to be out in 2 months and should be a great online game and fairly competitive!

To be honest it depends on your tastes, but there are loads of great online competitive games on the ds.

I got it for free as a present. Too bad I hacked it with Action Replay, took away the dozens of hours of fun it coulda gave me. :(

bummer... I first got it as a bundle with my original red DS over 2 years ago, than I gave away my DS and games to my little brother. I just bought a new DS and picked it up again! Lovin it!

ok hrere is where it is at...............

CoD WaW you can get badges the game keeps track of your stats for single player and online......you can also load your stats to a specific internet site and see them. games fun, can be hard sometimes people base camp in a 2 on 1 and right when you spawn you get laid out but this is by far my favorite ds game. graphics are alot better then cod4 for ds too. if you get it post your friend code on this thread
