Virtual console crashed!

I was just playing OoT, the only Zelda title that I haven't beaten, and the damn thing just froze halfway through a sword-swipe. The home button did nothing, the reset button did nothing - it was a serious system crash. I wondered if this was unusual...

i played over five games on virtual console, and nothing like that ever happend.

Its happened to me too. Think I was playing Mario Bros. Also, a few months after I got my Wii at launch I encountered an error when it booted up saying the flash memory had to be formatted:evil: Thankfully I just turned my Wii off and on again and it kinda fixed itself.. with game saves intact :)

O yea, 3-4 times in since i got my Launch Wii has it froze on me. I can't believe i have a system socrappy. I only use it like 10-12 hours a week, i wish the Wiis failure rate was as good as a 360 is. Restarting is so much of a pain.......

Actually the only thing that has happened to me while playing the VC is that my Metal Slug wont work.

I know there is a glitch in OOT where if you play the ocarina near the edge of the cliff near the large Goron, you will take out your ocarina and just stand there. Link does nothing and you can't move or play. Although you can reset the game, anything you did up to that point is lost.:(

all jokes aside....I've yet to d/l any VC games since taking it online (this particular console). I've had a few Wii's, but just haven't had time to do anything like that this time around so far. (can't even participate in my damn Union!)

It happened to me once when I was playing the original sonic the hedgehog. It ruined my save too and I had stocked up a bunch of lives and was chipping away at the game becasue I never actually beat that game back in the day without using the stage select code. Classic...

It happened to me twice while playing a wiiware game but after moving all my titles to an sd card it hasn't happened since :)
