Does anyone else here have a slight problem that Virtual Console games are counted among actual Wii games when it comes to the rating system and releases?

I don't mean to be picky, but I'm actually getting a Wii fairly soon, and interested in what good games are coming out, and it's kind of irritating not knowing sometimes what is and what isn't a "new" game.

I agree. The same thing happens to me all the time. I see a rating and get excited to later find out it is a VC game.

It kind of irritates me also.  When I check the Popular games chart, I see this F-Zero game and I thought it was a new Wii game.  I wish they'd just separate it. It makes it alot less confusing and easier.

IGN is too kind to everything while Gamespot is a little bit harsh on almost everything. Both have their flaws.

...and I really don't mind the VC games being lumped in with the other Wii games.

Is it really that hard to keep track of what's coming out?  I frequent sites like Gamespot and IGN casually and I have absolutely no trouble keeping up on what's coming out for the Wii.

When you search for games that are on a certain console the Wii Virtual Console and the Xbox Live Arcade are both counted as seperate consoles. It's not that hard to figure out what is a new Wii game.

It would be nice to refer to VC games as "Wii VC", but it's not that big of a deal.  It's a bummer, when you see something and you think it's a new Wii game, but then it's only a VC game.
