vitality sensor ?

What is this news I am hearing about a vitality sensor that I am supposed to put on top of my wii?? Oh man, you nintendo guys are so silly....I don't need to pay money fora manufactured device, I can just use my right hand. :P

It's funny that people are totally baffled as to what it could be used for despite all the fitness games that are on the Wii.
